"You leaving?" Jay asked me as I slid on my heels from the night before. It's been a couple of hours since Kelly left here. Jay suggested I give it some time before I decided to go home. I did as he said, but eventually called up my friend Lashontae to pick me up and take me home. I had errands to run and I couldn't stay at his place all day.

"Yeah I am. I have things to do."

He nodded his head and grabbed my hand to walk me to the door. There, we shared a kiss – multiple kisses. I could tell that he didn't want me to go, but I had to.

"I still have your spare house key," I said after pulling away, "Do you want it back?"

He shook his head and kissed me again, "Keep it. I'll see you later, right?"

"Yeah you will."

"Are you going to let me take you out?"

I stared at him and shrugged. I wouldn't mind, but I had things to take care of. "Maybe if I'm done doing everything that I have to do, we can do something. I'll let you know, okay?"

He nodded his head and opened the door for me. Soon as I was inside of Tae's car, he closed the door and went back to what he was doing – binge watching 13 Reasons Why. We watched the first couple of episodes together. I didn't like it but he was so into it. I'm pretty sure that's where he'll be all day.

"You have on the same clothes from last night." Tae said to me with a smirk. I rolled my eyes at her and shook my head.

"I know. My chest is hurting."

"Why? You scared or something?"

We shared a laugh, "Girl please. Why would I be scared?"

She shrugged her shoulders. I had told both her and Tanya about what happened today with Kelly and Jay. They had a weird feeling that Kelly may be up to something so they figured it was best that one of them went home with me just in case. Tanya would be meeting us there.

I honestly loved these girls already. They don't judge and I could tell that they were really about that life, especially Tae. She was in the Army and she's a little tomboy. The way they ride for me, I can tell that they will be really great friends and that's exactly what I needed in my life.

We finally made it to my apartment and by the time we were pulling in, so was Tanya. I could see Kelly's car and knew she was inside. There was no telling what she had planned for me when I walk in but I hope we can at least talk about things before she decide to do something crazy.

She honestly doesn't know anything. Everything she claim to know is only assumptions. She doesn't know for sure that Jay and I are messing around, but I don't plan on keeping this a secret for long. It's best I tell her now or don't tell her at all.

We got out of the car and I greeted Tanya with a hug before using my key to get in my place. I wasn't expecting for the place to be so quiet when I walked in. I knew for sure that Kelly would be waiting on me at the door, ready to fight.

"Why is it so quiet?" Tanya asked as she looked around. We all looked around to see that the place was spotless clean. I shrugged my shoulders and headed to my room with them two behind me. Once we were in, I locked the door and began taking off my clothes from last night as they sat on my bed.

"So you and him are serious?" Tanya asked, breaking the quietness. I sighed and ran the shower water before coming back inside my room to grab everything I needed.

"I don't know.. He left her for me so that says something, right?"

Tae nodded her head, "To me, it does but you have to think about it. The same way you got him is the same way you lose him."
