❁ head trauma ❁

"When Someone is drowning, you can try to save them but not if they're gonna drag you down with them." -Fred Andrews

DAHLIA OPENS HER EYES, gasping for breath as a few coughs escape her lips. She groans as she tries to blink her vision clear. She can see some blurry figures around her but can't quite tell who they are. A low moan escapes her lips as she squeezes her eyes shut for a second. "Dahlia." She hears faintly as a light is shined in her eyes. Dahlia's vision clears and she sees Clarke leaning over her, Bellamy and Finn in the background.

"Clarke?" Dahlia asks in a mumble as she meets the blonde's eyes. Clarke smiles slightly at the girl before a frown appears on Dahlia's lips. "I'm sorry." She whispers and Clarke looks down for a second, knowing she was talking about the exodus ship crashing.

"Me too." Clarke replies softly, tears in her eyes. Dahlia's eyebrows furrow slightly as she tries to sit up, only for Clarke to gently push her back down.

"What are you sorry for?" Dahlia asks confused and Clarke just looks at her with sadness washed over her face. She knew Dahlia wasn't close to her father but she had to have some feeling on her father passing away.

"Your father was probably on the exodus ship too." She states and Dahlia just shrugs slightly making Clarke squeezing her hand. Dahlia didn't really care, in fact she didn't feel any emotion other than for Clarke's mother.

"I don't care about my father." Dahlia says as she looks at Finn and Bellamy who were both looking at her concerned. She scoffs lightly, not needing their pity since she was not going to grieve her father's death.

"You know that's not true, Lia." Clarke assures her with a sigh but Dahlia just doesn't look back at her. The blonde had no idea what she had went through so she had no right to tell her what was true or not. "I need to check your eyes." She says, changing the subject. Clarke shines the light in both of Dahlia's eyes, squinting her own slightly to get a better look. Clarke all of a sudden takes a deep breath and puts on a smile. "Okay, they seem normal but I'm gonna need to check them every hour for at least a day to see if there's any changes. She just has a concussion." She explains to the three who just looked at her, somewhat relieved by the news. Dahlia sighs as she sits up, holding her head slightly.

"So she's fine?" Bellamy questions as he has his arms crossed against his chest. Dahlia makes eye contact with him and sends him a small smile, reassuring him.
