DAHLIA FELT NUMB, the words that left Lexa's mouth were inaudible to her ears. It didn't seem real to her. Finn and her hadn't been close at all in the past couple days but she couldn't stand the thought of actually losing him. But it was the only way to get the truce. She knew that the grounders would've wanted some revenge on what had happened in the village but the thought of Finn being murdered in cold blood brought a sick feeling to her stomach. Dahlia could sense that Clarke was thinking the same thing she was, she knew that the blonde would do anything to keep Finn around.
Finn had done an unthinkable thing and it didn't shock anyone to find out that the grounders wanted him dead. Blood must have blood. It was a grounder saying that they stuck by.
Clarke and Dahlia walked side by side back to the camp. They share a glance as Dahlia could faintly make out Bellamy's figure inside. He had his gun in hand ready to shoot if necessary.
"Hold your fire! They're back!" They heard Bellamy shout causing the guards to lower their guns but not drop them completely. They still had grounders right next to them so it was a safe bet to keep their guns at the ready
"Open the gate." One of the guards commands causing the gate to start opening, allowing the two girls to get inside. They are instantly met with people bombarding them with questions. Finn jogs over to them, worry and concern in his eyes as he looks over both of them.
"Are you both okay?' He questions, his hand reaching out to touch Dahlia's arm. Surprisingly she didn't pull away from him but instead gave him a comforting smile.
"Shut the gate." Clarke states, the guard doing as she said as she turns back to Finn obviously not impressed that he was out in the open. "You can't be out here. Dahlia, come on." Clarke demands as she starts to move Finn back towards the dropship. Dahlia seemed to be stuck in a trance though as she just stood still, not moving an inch. Bellamy looked at her questionably, wondering what the commander had said to them to make Dahlia this way. "Dahlia!" She shouts, trying to gain the girl's attention. Dahlia seems to snap out of it as she goes to follow the blonde who was walking towards her mother.
"What did she say? Is there a chance for a truce?" Abby asks as soon as they meet. Clarke clenches her jaw as she looks back at Dahlia who was staring numbly into the air.
"Yes." Clarke replies simply as her eyes flicker to the ground for a minute. Bellamy furrows his eyebrows as his eyes flicker between the two girls.
