THE RESCUE MISSION WAS CURRENTLY ON PAUSE AS THEY HAD SET UP CAMP FOR THE NIGHT. The fire burning brightly as some of them slept soundly. Birds chirping in the air, the cool breeze hitting their skin. Bellamy however was only stroking Dahlia's hair as soft breaths left her lips. He didn't feel like sleeping, at least not until they found their friends. His eyes glanced down to the strawberry blonde who was passed right out on his lap. A soft smile grazes his lips as he watches her peacefully. Clarke groans, opening her eyes as she rubs them slightly. She looks over, noticing Bellamy wide awake, looking tired as always. A sigh leaves her lips as she looks at him, meeting his gaze. He disconnects their eye contact though as he looks back down at Dahlia.
"Last time I saw you, you were closing the dropship door." He tells the blonde who only looks at him with a guilty expression. She hated how she had to close the door on Bellamy, Finn and Dahlia but if she hadn't, all of them would've been killed by grounders. Bellamy notices the girls expression, a frown forming on his lips for a split second. "Had to be done." Bellamy assures her, meeting the girls eyes as Clarke only nods ever so slowly. She didn't quite believe that, they could have waited a couple more seconds. She could have helped them.
"Did you get any sleep?" She asks the Blake, deciding to change the subject because she really didn't need any more guilt on her consience at the moment.
"It's okay, I'll sleep when we find Finn. Plus I feel like Dahlia's just faking it so she can get me back." He jokes as a slight smirk works it's way onto his lips as his eyes trail down to the sleeping girl.
"That is something she would do." Clarke admits with a laugh as her eyes also fall on the strawberry blonde who seemed to be way out. She didn't blame the girl though, it had been a stressful few days, or weeks. Bellamy's mind then goes to Finn. He knew that something was wrong with the boy. Bellamy had never seen him act out before, especially around Dahlia. He didn't know what had gotten into Finn but he was worried that it would only get worse if they didn't find him in time.
"You haven't seen him, Clarke. Losing you, the others. I'm worried it changed him. He executed the grounder that drew us the map. Pulled the trigger without even blinking and walked away." Bellamy explains to the blonde who only furrows her eyebrows as she hears what Finn did to an innocent grounder.
