I walk in the jail and sign in. After going through the metal detectors, I grab my stuff and wait for Ariel to come out.

They bring her out, and I can't help but smile. Before she can sit, I hug her. I hear her laugh then hug me back. "I missed you" I mumble not letting go.

"I missed you too" She says. I let her go and we sit down. "What you been up to?" She asks. "Cause you look tired"

I roll my eyes. "My sister literally dropped Ty off at my door last night, I've had 3 photoshoots, plus my meetings, I'm tired" I say. "And I've been up cause something doesn't seem right"

"About what?" She asks.

"This whole situation, I can't put my finger on it but me and your mom have been trying to figure out something" I say. "I can't confirm my suspicions until your court date though"

"Tamia" Ariel says glaring at me.

"Ariel" I say glaring back at her.

"If you cheat on me whi-" she starts but I cut her off.

"Ain't no if's, so be quiet" I say rolling my eyes. "Just like I told my mama, you stuck with me, simple as that" I add shrugging. "If that means our relationship gotta be spent apart for a year then so be it"

"Oh, and you need to get my car fixed lil ugly dude" She says making me laugh. "I want the exact same Maserati that you fucked up" She adds.

"You will have it" I say.

"How's Ty?" She asks. "I miss him"

"His vocabulary is slightly improving, my mom has gotten used to checking him out and I made her stop" I say. "I'll bring him Friday"

We continue to talk till her times up. I hug her and kiss her cheek. "I love you" I say looking at her.

"I love you too" She says smiling. They take her back and I leave. It's only 11:30, so I guess I'll go home and take a nap while I can.

Ma pulls up to the jail and I look at her confused. "I thought visiting hours were over?" I ask.

"I was able to get her another one but only for 30 minutes" She says. "So each of y'all gotta talk fast" She adds turning the car off. It's me, Mila, Leah, the twins, and Ma. Dad called Ariel earlier saying he couldn't make it.

We sign in and go through the detector before entering the visiting area. Ariel is escorted out and she sits down.

"Y'all will not believe the walk from upstairs to down here" She says. "Hey twin and best friend" She adds waving.

"Hey" Mila and I say.

"Hey Leah" She says. Leah moves by Ariel and lays on her.

We all talk for a bit then everyone leaves so me and Ariel can talk. "You good?" She asks.

I shrug. "It feels weird, ion really fuck with nobody except you aside from Mila and Messiah, but you're my twin so it's different" I say.

"Would you be mad if I came outta here different person so to say?" She asks.

I look at her. "Elaborate"

"Like I'm already fucked up as is it, I can't play basketball at some top notch college anymore and possibly go pro with it, I'm stuck" She says. "And I wanna kill Christian when I get out, if dad doesn't first" She adds.
