Chapter 38 - Gabbi

(POV Adrien)

Gabbi Lastimosa was my first serious girlfriend back in college. Alam ko ay nasa Europe siya for her modeling career, pero hindi ko inaasahan na nandito din siya sa club ni Galadriel.

Gabbi whispered something in my ears about getting out of the club. Based from her seductive tone, she is offering herself to me tonight.

Napansin ko agad si Galadriel sa elevated part ng club and he is smirking at me as if may kalokohan siyang ginawa, but my eyes were suddenly focused to her sister who is furiously walking towards me.

Kung tama ako, Galadriel must have said something nasty to Ava about Gabbi. Mukhang sasabog sa galit ang kapatid niya sa mga oras na ito.

"Boss A, uwi na tayo. Inaantok na ako," sabi ni Ava sabay hila sa akin palayo kay Gabbi.

I can smell a bit of alcohol from her. Hindi siguro sanay uminom ang babaeng ito kaya madali malasing.

"Who is she?" taas kilay na tanong ni Gabbi sa akin.

"F Buddy. I am Adrien's F Buddy and soon to be wife! Di ba ikaw yung ex-girlfriend niya? Alam mo ba ang ibig sabihin ng X? Or baka gusto mo ukitin ko sa mukha mo ang definition ng ex gamit ang kuko ko?" inis na sabi ni Ava na biglang yumakap sa braso ko bago pa ako makasagot.

Ginaya niya si Gabbi and she pressed her chest to my arms as if marking me as her own. Para siyang bata na overprotective sa kanyang toy.

Ganito pala magselos ang babaeng ito... Masyadong brutal...

Gabbi was taken aback when she heard what Ava have said. Hindi niya alam kung nagbibiro lang si Ava or kung totoo ang sinasabi niya.

"I am sorry? F Buddy? Adrien, sino ba siya? Kailan ka pa nakipag fling sa mas bata sayo? And you are getting married now?" Gabbi said in an equal tone.

"Ay hindi mo gets? Slow ka? Let me explain it to you loud and clear. Gabbi, you are Adrien's past! Ako ang present at future ng lalaking kasama mo. Kaya pwede, wag mo idikit ang dibdib mo sa fiancee ko? Idikit mo yan sa pader. Mas bagay kayo, pareho kayong flat!" galit na sabi ni Ava. 

I just sighed and just nodded at Gabbi as a confirmation. Sa totoo lang, Ava is being rude to her right now, pero hindi siya maghuhurementado kung hindi niya nakita ang seductive stunts ni Gabbi.

Avriel Vargas is not a clingy person, but there is no doubt that she is jealous right now. Mas mabuting tumahimik ako sa mga oras na ito, kaysa matikman ang galit niya.

Kilala ko din si Galadriel Vargas, may temper ang lalaking yun. Hindi na ako magtataka kung may hidden temper din ang kapatid niya. And I don't want to witness it anytime soon.

"Uuwi na ba tayo or makikipag landian ka pa sa kanya? Wag mo ko galitin, Boss A. Baka pag gising mo bukas, putol na yan," galit na sabi ni Ava sa akin sabay nguso sa lower part ko.

"Pero maagap pa ah?" biro ko sa kanya.

"Inaantok na nga ako eh! Buong araw mo ko pinagod tapos expect mo may energy pa ako mag club? Tao lang ako, hindi ako sex machine!"

Hindi ko alam kung matutuwa ako or maiinis ako sa babaeng ito. She is clearly being possessive right now and she has every right to do so.

But I don't want her to disclose any private information about us to Gabbi. Ever since naging F Buddy kami ni Ava, I want everything about us to be exclusively between us only.

"Gabbi, nice seeing you again. I am sorry, my fiancee is a bit drunk and I need to take her home. We will take our leave now," I said with an apologetic smile to Gabbi.

Tumango lang sa amin si Gabbi sa akin. She is clearly starstruck dahil sa mga revelation ni Ava.

Lumabas kami ng club at mahigpit na nakahawak sa akin si Ava as if mawawala ako anytime. I thought she is already drunk and sleepy kaya gusto niya umuwi, pero bigla siya bumitaw sa braso ko the moment na malayo na kami sa mga tao. Lumakad siya palayo sa akin at kahit sa malayo, I can sense that she is gritting her teeth.

Gigil na gigil siya as if gusto pumatay ng tao... The hidden temper of the Vargas princess...

"Hey, Stranger. Slow down. Medyo tipsy ka na," sigaw ko sa kanya while following her.

"I can manage, Boss A. Bumalik ka na sa ex-girlfriend mo."

"Stranger, Gabbi asked me to spend the night with her. You already told her that you are my F Buddy and fiancee kaya wala na ako babalikan," biro ko sa kanya.

"So may plano may balak ka pala talagang makipag chuchu kay Gabbi ngayong gabi?" galit na sabi niya sabay harap sa akin.

"Sort of..."

"Ay wow! Just wow! Sorry ha? Nasira ko yung attempt niyo ni Gabbi for One More Chance!"

"May magagawa pa ba ko? You ruined everything."

Tumingin lang sa akin si Ava. Alam ko na umaapoy na siya sa galit sa mga oras na ito, but she tried her best to be calm. A classy way to handle stress.

"Boss A, mabuti pa bumalik ka na sa club. I don't think na kaya ko makita ang pagmumukha mo sa gabing ito. Uuwi na lang ako mag-isa. See you tomorrow," she said in her coldest voice.

All the traces of emotions in her angelic face were suddenly gone. I am now facing a dangerous version of Avriel Vargas. Hindi ko dapat ginagalit ang babaeng ito. Baka totohanin niya ang pagputol sa alaga ko.

With just a few steps, I am already in front of her. I quickly grabbed her nape and kiss her. She tried to resist, but I kissed her thoroughly until she calmed down.

"I am just kidding, Stranger. I have no plans to spend my night with other woman aside from you. Ikaw lang gusto ko makasama sa bawat gabi ng buhay ko," I whispered as I continue to kiss her.

Wala ako pakialam kahit nasa gilid kami ng daan. I don't even care if someone will sees us. Ava is my fiancee and I can even announce it to the whole world.

"Boss A, if you get tired of me, just let me know. I am willing to let you go," bulong ni Ava after our passionate kiss.

"I won't let you go, Stranger. Not now, not ever," I whispered back as I cup her face.

Every moment I spent with her is always better. I don't think I am ready to let this girl go.
