PROFESSOR FLITWICK's class. The teacher is very short, and is standing on a bunch of books.
And Dan was in this class and was sat one seat away from me.
Flitwick: One of a wizard's most rudimentary skills is levitation the ability to make objects fly. Uh, do you all have your feathers?
Hermione raises hers.
"Good. Now, uh, don't forget the nice wrist movement we've been practicing, hmm? The swish and flick. Everyone."
Everyone does it.
"The swish and flick. Good. And enunciate. Wingardium Leviosa. Off you go then."
"Wingardium Levio-saaa." Draco said from beside me I try and it moves slightly.
I see dan swishing his wand about and he seemed very distracted by something or someone.
I take the moment to examine him.
His robes where perfect with a slight crease on the shoulder.
He had very short finger nails, he probably bit them. And his hair was curly and I just wanted to run my fingers through it. I realised he held his wand in his left hand, was he left handed?
" Wingardrium Leviosar." Ron says and whacks the feather with his wand numerous times.
Hermione: Stop, stop, stop. You're going to take someone's eye out. Besides, youre saying it wrong. It's Leviosa, not Leviosar."
Ron: You do it then if you're so clever. Go on, go on."
Hermione straightens up and swishes her wand.
"Wingardium Leviosa." She says poshly
I role my eyes and Draco whispered "goody two shoes" in my ear.
The feather glows and lifts up. Ron puts his head on his books dejectedly.
Flitwick: Oh, well done! See here, everyone! Ms. Granger's done it! Oh, splendid!
Seamus begins swishing at his feather.
Seamus: Wingard Levosa. Wingard Levosa.
Flitwick to Hermione: Well done, dear.
BOOOM!!! Seamus' feather explodes. Flitwick gasps.
Me and Draco laugh and I see Dan from the corner of my eye chuckle
Flitwick: Whooaaa! Ooh.
Harry: I think we're going to need another feather over here, Professor.
And then I growl, harry is just really annoying at this point and I think Draco felt the same.
