Chapter 4

June 20th:
This morning, I work up before Shawn did. I stared at his perfect face. I decided to tease him a little, so I pulled a string acrossed his face and yelled "SHAWN!!!! THERES A BUG ON YOU FACE!!!". He jumped out of the bed and was rolling over the floor. I was uncontrollably laughing.

"Haley, did you think that was funny"

"Yes Shawn, I did"

"Well darling, you're in for a surprise" Shawn told me.

He chased me around the cabin. I ran as fast as I could until he cornered me.

"Shit, Mr.Mendes. Why?" I said in a laughing manner.

"Because I like you, and now you're in for a real treat" he said.

He pushed me up against the wall. I rapped my legs around him and he carried me over to the bed. He sat me down on the bed delicately. He then kissed me as he ran his hands down my body. He started to tug on my shirt.

"Shawn" I said in an uneasy way.

"Haley, it's ok. I love you and I'm willing to wait until you're ready again. I know a few years ago you were an immature teen with no real boundaries. Now you have some and I've got to respect them" he said.

"Shawn, I love you. I'm so damn lucky that you're my boyfriend" I told him. He smiled and nodded like the goofball that he is. He got off of me and I went into the bathroom. I took a quick shower and then put on some black shorts, a white and black stripped shirt, and red converse. I pulled some of my hair back into a clip and headed out. Shawn was already ready. "Haley, go do your makeup" Shawn said in a demanding way.

"Why? I thought you didn't like it"

"Just for today. I need you too"

"Why?"

"Please Haley, just do it"

"Fine" I yelled at him.

I headed into the bathroom. First I put on foundation and blended it in. Second, Concealer which I also blended in. Third was powder. Fourth, I contoured my face. Fifth, I did my eyebrow. Sixth, a tiny bit of eye shadow. Seventh, mascara. Eighth, highlight. And last but not least, a little bit of chapstick.

"Hey Shawn I'm ready"

"Damnnnnnnnnn. Wait, did I just say that out loud"

"Unfortunately you did, so now you can't check me out" I said. That was stupid of me to say because he started to check me out anyways. He put his hand on the side of his face and also put that stupid cheesy grin on his face. "Shawn... Shawn... SHAWNNN!!! My face is up here" I told him.

"Sorry Haley. It's just, you're so beautiful. I really do love you a lot"

"Shawn, I love you too. What is the surprise?"

"You'll have to wait and find out. I promise, it's nothing bad, let go" he said as he grabbed my hand.

We started walking until we reach a familiar spot.

"Haley, do you remember this place?" He asked.

"Shawn, it look so familiar, but I can't lay my finger"
