Sasha's POV

About half way through Mrs.Downers speech of rules and shit like that the bell rings, saving us from this torture. I pack up my stuff and wait for Mack to do the same. Mack and I make it out into the hall, Amabel trailing behind us Aidan next to her chatting away. I sigh and shake my head as I listen to Mack explain the events of this morning, nothing new really.

"Hey did you notice how buddy buddy Melody seemed to be with the new kid" She questioned, she somehow missed his name during their conversation this morning. Not like I care or anything.

"Mack, Mel is friendly with everyone. So I'm not surprised really" I respond.

"Yeah true but they seemed to be more than friends" She argues

I simply shrug, I highly doubt they were a thing. Sure Mel did kiss his cheek when they sat down at the table this morning but that could mean a lot of things. If they were dating Mel would have mentioned it more than once. I mean why should I care if they're dating or not, it's not any of my business anyway.

"I'll ask Mel about it in English, since that is the only class she's good at and I suck in" I sigh and make my way to class.

Mack shouts a 'see ya later' and I simply wave her off before entering the surprisingly full class. I spot Mel turned around talking to one of the many people she's befriended. I take the empty seat next to her and drop my stuff on the floor next to me. Since she's still blabbering on about some anime show I haven't watched yet to a girl behind her I decided to jab her in the  side, causing her to squeal and jump in her seat.

I can't help but laugh, she turns to me and slaps my arm with her tiny noodle arms. A pout visible on her face and hand over the her side were I poked her.

"Sushi wtf you meanie pants" She scolds me, she's always using made up words mixed with the cuss words that fill up most of her vocabulary.

"Well how else am I supposed to get your attention" I giggle and shrug.

She was about to say something but the bell cut her off, instead she glared at me. I just smiled and shook my head, directing my attention to the teacher instead. She wasn't as boring as Mrs. Downer but her words still made no sense to me. She was surprisingly nice, after she explained some stuff she let us have the rest of class as a free period.

I turned around in my seat to face Mel and was about to jab her again to before she caught my hand mid way.

Damn her fast reflexes.

"What do you want child" She says in a bored tone.

"Well Mel, tell me about the new kid. Are you two like a thing? Because you seem pretty close. What's he like? Is he really Dominic's brother? What-" Before I could continue Mel slaps her hand over my mouth to stop my rambling.

"First off, don't call me Mel" She glares at me, I just smirk as she removes her hand from my mouth "Second to answer your questions, no we are not a thing. We're pretty close because I've known him for half my life. He's a pretty nice guy. Yes he's Dominic's younger brother"

I look at her shocked, not because of the big info bomb she just dropped but because she was able to stay serious enough to answer my questions.

"Oh and why do care what's he like, do you like him" she drags out the 'm' while nudging me with her elbow.

I can feel my cheeks heat up and that weird feeling I had earlier resurface "W-what, of course not! I don't even know the guy so how could I?! Besides he looks like a player s-so there"

Why am I stuttering, I have no idea myself. A smirk appears on her face.

"Ooo you so totally do! Sushi has a crush on Carttt" She says in a sing-song voice. So childish

"Cart?" I question, I've never heard that name before.

"Oh Carter, that's his name. Domino's little brother. That's just my nickname for him" She informs me

I simply nod, Carter huh? Well it dose kinda fit him I suppose. I mean if he's a brother of Dominic or 'domino' as Mel said then he must be no good. His brother gets in fights left and right, always have a new hoe on his side. I heard rumors that he's banged every girl at this school, even the freshman. He's never had a solid relationship and I honestly wouldn't blame him. Alot of girls here just wanna get in man's pants, and since most of the boys don't know how to keep it in there pants they get their slutty wish granted.

If Carter's anything like his brother then he's definitely no good, especially if he's friends with Aidan. Aidan is always either at home suspended, in ISS or in the principals office. He's got into and won so many fights that even the football team is scared of him. There's no use in punishing him or giving him write ups because nothing works. He just dose it again and again, always getting away with it. I wonder if Carter's that rich friend I've heard Aidan mention more than once.

I highly doubt it though, I mean both him and his brother don't look rich at all. In years before I've seen how Dominic dresses, he looks like he just came off the streets.  I've never seen his brother before now so I wonder why they didn't go to the same school or why I never saw him in any of my classes. I'm sure 5 year old me would have been the first person to befriend him because that's how I was.

Well how do you guys like it so far, we got some more info on Carter. But don't worry next chapter will be fulllllll on details and if you wanna know something I maybe forgot to mention just comment your questions and I'll answer them
