Chapter 9 - Texts

1270 Words

--------------------------------------------

I groan as I lye my head down on my desk. Stupid World History and it's stupid words, I mean when in my life am I gonna need to know what happened like 50 or 100 years ago.

"Ms. Violet! Head up, now is not the time for naps!" Ms. Stewart shouts from the front of the room.

I unwillingly lift my head off the cool desk, sighing as a headache pounds against my skull. Not like Ms. Bitchys yelling helped at all.

Damn it why can't it be Sunday again. I start to think back to the mostly uneventful Sunday I went through.

Flashback

Me and Mak were sitting on my bed, my phone placed in front of us.

"Damn, didn't know he was this good looking" Mak smirks, grabbing the phone off the bed to holding it closer to her face.

She came over not a while ago, nagging me to show her Dominic's Instagram. Since she heard all the rumors that Carter apparently had the body of a god but, with the clothes he wears she denied it.  So that she would shut up I let her use my phone to basically stalk Dino's profile. Yes I called him Dino and, no it doesn't mean I think he's any less of a dick.

Mak was scrolling through the pics of a either shirtless or smiling Carter "If he wasn't such an ass then I'd totally go for him"

I roll my eyes, flopping back onto my pillows. "Well he isn't so oh well" my voice coming out harsher than needed

What the hell?? For some reason for the past weeks whenever someone mentions Carter I'd get pissed. Probably cuz he's a stupid dickhead with no regrets. Whatever it is I don't really care.

"Someone's moody" She giggles, the phone glued to her hand

I flip her off, closing my eyes. I mean he's not that bad looking but, if only the bod could fit the personality

End of Flashback

I'm bought out of my thoughts as I feel eyes boring into the back of my head. I turn my head to what I expected to be source of  the unsettling feeling to only be met with bright green orbs. Carter was staring right at me like a creep, a green eyed creep. Yet it's those same emerald eyes that I just can't look away from. It's just something about them, the color so deep and vivid. Something was definitely hidden in them and, I was gonna find out.

I visibly jumped in my seat when the lunch bell rang. Loudly might I add.I hadn't noticed it but, I was in an a staring contest with that dweeb. A faint blush covered my cheeks as I quickly started to pick up my stuff, shoving it in my bag.

God damn him, what the hell was that for!? I start mumbling under my breath as I continue to pack up. I quickly toss the heavy bag over my shoulder, trying to get out of here as quick as I could.

"Woah! Watch were you're swinging that thing" A voice behinds me chuckled.

"Fuck off Carter, I don't wanna talk" I dismiss.
