Chapter34: Riley's Birthday

  "Morning." I say to Tyler.

"Thanks for bailing on me yesterday."

   "Im sorry. I was with Blake." he smiles at me and kisses my forehead.

"Happy birthday." I hug him and kiss his cheek. Today I finally turn 18 and I am so happy.  It's going to be awesome. I don't want a party but I am going to celebrate it with my family which is Tyler, Olivia, and Blake. I wish Madison was here.

  I  was about to call Olivia when the door bell rang. I opened the door and It was Blake.

 

    "Hey." I hug him.

   "You smell like cupcakes."

" I just woke up and I haven't taken a shower, but thanks." he cringes his nose at what I said and lets himself in.

"Happy birthday." He takes a box out of his jeans and hands it to me.

"You didn't have to. But thanks." I give his lips a quick peck and open the box. There are stickers Inside with pictures of pigs and the word 'pig' everywhere. I look at him out of curiously before speaking to thank him.

"Thank you?" I say sounding more like a question. He smiles and kisses my forehead. We walk to the ktichen and then the door bell rings. Blake goes to get it and a second later he comes in with Olivia. She has a huge smile on her face.

  "Yay! Your finally 18. Happy birthday, babe!" She hugs me tightly.

"Hey, she is no one's babe other than me." Blake pulls me away from Olivia and Olivia rolls her eyes. She grabs my hand and takes me to my room and locks the door.

   "Your not going to kill me, right?Cause I have pepper spray in the closet." She laughs.

"No I am not and if I would it would be in the middle of nowhere. And girl, never tell the person who you are with in a room alone that you have pepper spray." I roll my eyes and sit on the bed but Olivia gets me up again. I look at her confused.

  "Here, go put this on." She hands me a black short short dress, that if you bend down you can probably put on a show, and 6 inch black pumps. I go to the bathroom take a quick shower and change into the clothes. I  come out and when Olivia notices me her eyes widen.

"Om, my god! You are the definition of hot. Ok, ok let me do your make up now." She pulls me to sit on my bed and she grabs my make up kit. After what feels like forever, she is finally done with my hair and make up. When I look at myself in the mirror I have to stand there for like 5 minutes reminding myself that it's not a dream. Olivia takes me back downstairs and its really hard coming down with 6 inch heels. I tap on Blakes shoulder and when he sees me he just looks at me with loss of words. I laugh nervously and look down. He lifts my chin up to look at him.

   "You look beautiful." I blush and try looking back down but he won't let me. "Don't look down, you have no right to." I smile and peck his lips slightly.

   "Come on we have to take you to do your nails and then we have to go to dinner and after that a SURPRISE!" Olivia grabs Blake's hand and mine and takes us to her red Lamborghini. "What surprise?" I ask and they both look at each other without answering my question.

   When we arrive at the nail salon, I tell the lady that I want my nails to be painted white and to add sparkles. It took about a hour and a half to get the nails done and finally we were going to the restaurant to eat. Blake left cause he said he was going to pick up Tyler but he never came back.  We enter the restaurant and we get seated right away. We wait for like 10 minutes and finally Blake and Tyler enter the restaurant.

   "What took you guys so long?" I ask. Blake sits next to me and Tyler and Olivia sit together.

  "We had to take care of some things before coming here." Tyler says. I look at Blake and he looks suspicious but I let it go. We are all having a good time and laughing. Tyler called the waiter to have him make a cake for me and when he brought it they sanged happy birthday. It was so fun, until the waiter started to flirt with me and Blake snapped at him,  but other than that we were all having a blast. At the end of the night they said there was one thing left to do but they couldn't come, only Blake.

   We got into his car and drove. We drove for about an hour when the car came to a stop. It looks like a lake? A river? But when we walked closer I saw what it was. It was beautiful, amazing, and just perfect in every way. It was a stream. It wasn't just like any ordinary stream. It was huge and crystal clear. So clear that you could see the rocks  that are under and the fish swimming around. There was a table in the middle wear the grass was and there was a cupcake and a candle in the middle of it. Blake took me to the table, grabed the cupcake and held it in his hands. When he lit the candle up he told me to make a wish but I said that there was no need cause it already came true, and it was to fall in love. That was the only wish I had ever had. It came true. Blake started to strip his clothes off except for his boxers.

   "Um...what are you doing?" He grabs me by the waist and kisses my neck.

  "Let's get in." He says. I tell him that it may be to cold but he said he doesn't give a 'merda', whatever that means. I strip my clothes off but leave my underwear and bra on. We jump in at the same time hand in hand. It was such a cliché moment when we kissed underwater and Blake insisted that we took a picture. When we get out we dry out and put our clothes back on. We takes my near the table again and we stand their looking at each other for about 2 minutes before he breaks the awkward silence.

   "This is for you." He takes out 2 black boxes. One square and the other rectangular. I look at him confused and then realize that its my birthday present.

  "You already gave me a birthday present, Blake. Remember the pig stickers?" When I say that he laughs so loud that I think he might pass out. His laugh is music to my ears.

  "Yeah, you should have seen your face when you opened it. Hilarious." I roll my eyes. "Yeah, but this is your real present....well presents." He hands me the boxes and I open the square one first. When I open it I fall in love with it immediately. It was a gold and silver bracelet with the letter 'R' on it. I looked at Blake and stared at him with admiration.

  "You like it?" He seems a little nervous.

"No, I don't." He frowns.  "I don't like it because, I love it." And he give me a smile that can light up a room. I open the next box and when I see it I let the tears come out. It was a necklace.. a necklace with a heart... and Inside the heart was the word love and on the bottom were the letters  'R + B'. I huged Blake tightly and then kissed his lips. The kiss was full of love, passion, need, want, lust, and so much more. I thanked him a bunch of times and told him that I loved him.

   When we arrived home before I would go inside my house he gave me a card. A card that said 'I love you to the sky and back down to the ground', on the front. I opened the card and read,

  Dear Riley,

     First, I wanted to say happy birthday and I love you. I don't know if I can explain my love to you through a card but I will try as best as I can. So, since the first day that I saw you I knew I just had to be with you. I needed you. You were and are amazing. There is only one of you, but I have a million feelings. I don't deserve you or your love, but I can't stay away and I know that's how you feel too. I want to protect you and fight for you, you have no idea how much I love and care for you. Guys usually take time to love someone...but I didn't take time cause I didn't need or want to. I will respect you like your my mother and love you like if you were  my wife. I want you to know that I love you so, so, soo much and happy birthday, cupcake. xx - Blake.

   When I finished reading the card for the 3 time I noticed that I was in tears.  I lie down on my bed hugging the card close to me and fall asleep with a smile on my face. This is a birthday that I won't forget.
