Chapter37: New Years

Finally, today is New Years. Its been 2 months in a half since Blake and I started dating. Cece and Ariana are both in my bathroom doing there make up mean while I get dressed. Since its only three in the afternoon, we aren't going to put the dresses on yet. I picked out a plain white tee shirt with a leather jacket, light blue skinny jeans, and my light pink pumps. I did my make up and hair already so I just need to wait for Cece and Ariana. I straighten my hair and did curls on the bottom. I put on a black head band to go with it.

When they finally finished getting ready we headed to the nail salon. I sat down on the chairs waiting for someone to attend me.Cece and Ariana are already getting their feet down. When they finally called me I sat down on the patiently chair meanwhile she did my nails. I decided to go with red and white for my hands and for my feet just white. I looking around and I noticed that the girls were almost done and so was I. I spotted a girl with redish brownish hair that look really familiar. Then it hit me. Molly? What is she doing here? She turned around and I noticed that it was her. She spotted me and she gave me a warm smile which I returned.

"All done." I didn't even know that the lady was finished already. We payed and left home afterwards. When we got home it was 7. Wow, we took long.

"Lets go get dressed. The guys are going to be here in a hour." Cece said.

We went upstairs to get dressed and when we did we looked amazing. We were wearing the dresses that Blake got us. Cece was wearing a strapless red, long in the back short in the front, dress with black pumps, Ariana was wearing a one side black strap dress that looked beautiful on her and showed off her curves with white pumps, and lastly I was wearing a light pink dress that had a small bow in the front where my stomach is. It was so beautiful and gorgeous. I was wearing my white pumps to go with it. The bell ranged and I went down to get it with the girls. When I opened it there was Cole, Blake, and Aiden. Aiden was Ariana's guy friend. She met him at some cafe and they've been 'hanging out' alot. She likes him alot but she keeps saying he doesn't and won't like her. By the way he is looking at her right now, shows that he so likes her.

"Wow." The guys say in unison. We chuckle and walk to our cars and drove to the stream. When we arrive the guys forced us to close our eyes. When they told us to open them I was awestruck. They were lights on the trees and lanterns on the ground. We got near the water and saw the fish glow all different colors. It was so beautiful and it felt so magical.

"Did you guys do this?"

"Yup. We wanted it to be perfect for you girls." Aiden answers Ariana. She smiles and kisses his cheek.

Cole and Cece go to sit on the grass and look at the fireworks, Aiden and Ariana wondered off somewhere and Blake and I are standing near the water looking at the fish.

"So did you like what we did?" Blake breaks the silence. I look over to him and smile.

"No." he frowns and looks down to the ground. "I loved it." he looks up and gives me a thousand dollar smile. I wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him. The kiss is full of passion, want, need, but most importantly, love. His tongue moves to my lip and he asks for entrance, which I happily accept. We are interrupted by a cough from behind. We back away and turn around to face a very uncomfortable Cole. We chuckle and he scratches the back of his head.

"We are about to watch the fireworks, care to stop the kissing and join us?" I chuckle to myself and Blake rolls his eyes. He takes my hand in his and we walk to our friends. We all lay on the grass looking up at the gorgeous fireworks. I look around to see all my friends laughing, enjoying themselves, and feeling carefree. These creatures around me around just my friends, these creatures are my family. Yes, they are creatures, they are my creatures. They are the best human beings and creatures I have ever met. Even though I lost my parents, Maddy is away, and Tyler and Olivia are away, it doesn't mean that I have no family left. No, I have a family. These people are my family.

"What's wrong?" Blake looks at me with concern. I smile and lay back down.

"I was just thinking that even though I lost my parents and some of my friends are away, doesn't mean that I don't have a family. I have one and they are with me right here." Blake kisses my cheek and causes me to blush. Turns out these amazing creatures heard what I said.

"Aww, I love you, Riley." Cece and Ariana says at the same time. We all stand up and hug each other.

At soon as the clock turns 12, we all jump and yell. After we huged each other and spent some time looking at the fireworks, we all jumped into the water together. This has been a great day. I feel so complete with my family here. This is a very magical, special, spontaneous day. I will chresure this day until the day I die.

I love these people with all my life.
