- taehyung -
this is it.
this is one of taehyung’s parent's most awaited day for him.
his highschool graduation day.
after several months of being sleep deprived and mentally abused (mostly by calculus), he'll finally get to get out of this hell hole.
hell hole means being babysitted by bunch of bulked up and suited guys with dark shades on.
he sighed as he fiddled with his long dainty fingers, waiting for his name to be called.
“kim taehyung!” the announcer spoke into the mic, the crowd started to clap and chant as he made his way to the stage.
he finds it strange though, why are they suddenly clapping for him? they don't even speak a single word to him at school.
oh well, maybe because the country’s prime minister was here, his father.
he made his way towards the stage carefully.
he smiled at the school administrative staffs, the governor and lastly at his proud parents as he shook hands with them after claiming his school diploma.
his dad pulled him into a nice hug, patting his back, “good job tae!” he cheered, his eyes shaping in crescents.
taehyung showed him his boxy smile, a sign that he was glad that he was here, as he let go of the hug to move on to his mom.
his mom was being emotional as she held his hands, “mom! stop it please?” he hushed as taehyung hugged her side.
“im just so proud of you darling,” she cooed sending him her sweetest smile.
taehyung could only chuckle as he made his way to the middle of the stage, bowing politely.
---
“taehyung!” my mom called as she made her way to him.
the ceremony has already ended but his parents, well, mostly his dad chose to stay for a couple of minutes to discuss something with the school’s board of trustees.
“im so so proud of you taetae, i can't believe you did it!” she smiled as she caressed his cheeks.
“myyyy,” taehyung sighed exasperatedly, “stop it.” he scrunched his nose adorably.
he just hate the thought of being babied by his mom when he's actually nearing his adulting life.
he just decided to hug her burying his face on her shoulder while mumbling, “thank you mom.” while smiling.
he was thankful that despite of my dad’s position, the institution had let him experienced a not so normal highschool.
well, not so normal because he can't even go to the bathroom without a guy in a suit accompanying him.
it was annoying, he's already eighteen yet his parents still think of him as if he was a five years old baby.
though, he understand that they just want the best for him, that they were just trying to protect him but protecting him means having no friends at all.
he had spent his four years in highschool studying, studying and studying.
some people would never go near him, initimidated at the bodies surrounding him, making him feel as if he was infected by some contagious disease.
he was being treated differently, there were a few perks of course since there were times he would be treated specially.
whenever he's sick or something important would come up, the teacher would just let him pass giving him the decent grades as if he was present the whole time durinh the school year, it was an unfair privilege that he couldn't escape.
“taehyungieee!” a voice snapped him out of his thoughts, he looked up to meet my dad greeting him with open arms.
taehyung jogged into his way as his dad pulled him into an embrace, “im proud of you son!” he chuckled as he patted his back.
“thanks dad,” taehyungs sighed while letting go of the hug, “anything for you son.” his dad replied, ruffling his hair as he smiled.
his dad was always busy, always out of the country to do his prime minister duties, but for once, taehyung felt happy, so happy to see him here congratulating him.
“shall we go home?” his mom suggested as she clapped her hands.
“mom i know that look, did you throw a party for me?” taehyung accused, groaning after hearing her response.
“of course! it's your day and we should celebrate it. your cousins will be there!” she excitedly exclaimed as she helplessly pulled taehyung with her as they walked towards the parking lot.
taehyung heard his dad chuckling from behind probably because of his mom's actions, he couldn't blame him though, her mom’s antics were just sometimes, too much.
armed men surrounded them as they settled inside the service.
he sighed, quite used to it.
his butler, an old guy named cha won opened the door for them.
taehyung flashed him a kind smile after congratulating him.
he sat with his parents in the back of the car, his mom to his left and his dad on to his right.
he've never felt so happy until this day came, finally out of hell hole.
or so he thought.
