***** By the Bay is a famous restaurant along the street of Wilshire Boulevard (again, fictional restaurants). Chef Nicomena is very busy preparing for the big night, with the help of Nanay Nila and the young apprentices she hired from one of the Orphanages in LA.
Nanay Nila: Parang kailan lang nasa Paris ka to take Crash courses sa Le Cordon Bleu, apprenticeship under Chef Bobby Flay, and now a Chef, Nena, Ang bilis ng panahon... Nena: Nay, Richard will be here, ok lang ba sa inyo kung sakaling magkita kami? Nanay: Nena, you're 20 years old, alam mo na ang tama, ang mali, Tama Ang sabi sakin ni Richard, mahal nya si Cindy, sila pa rin hanggang ngayon. Nena, hindi ko na panghihimasukan ang buhay mo, basta nandito lang ang Nanay para sayo..

The guest are starting to gather in the restaurant, the hostess are escorting the guests to their table.
Nena is very nervous. She's anxious to see Richard, though she knows deep inside that he will be married within a year, there's this feeling she had for him for the longest time na hindi mawala, wala.She kept his pictures, the magazines, the pillow with his face imprinted on it... somehow he became an inspiration to her, a motivation... is it love? California is a very busy State, its one of the world's known entertainment capital but Nena struggles for a few months in California. Nanay Nila didn't accompany her when she went to California. She was a bit at lost for awhile but Czarina, Lady M's good friend helped her out and gave her guidance in every step of the way. Nena tried not to use all the money that Lady M gave her, without Lady M's knowledge, she worked as a Caregiver while in New York. She wanted to support herself to understand better the value of money, and hardwork, perseverance paid off. Now, it's the matter of the heart that Nena has yet to realized.
Nena's heart was beating fast, she finally saw Richard stepped out of the car, dressed casually in blue but still can pull off that "boy next door" look, handsome indeed..
