Interwoven fairy tales are quickly surrendering to never happy endings,

stolen as merely a plausible common excuse –

up to you in finding euphoric mending;

Dive into plentiful lies to cover up truths,

hide beneath layers to keep comfort –

I'm always at war with the walls for you.

Words sometimes drift short,

doesn't imply as never wanting to immerse in sun –

breathe back a sighing distort;

Days of dreaded numb,

desperate rivers refuse to see out eyes –

I can't break out from;

Wish for the storms brewed would end inside,

they've held hands when there was so few to choose within crumbs –

attached to body as necessary thumbs to survive;

I see when you distinguish me so wild,

head connects to lashed heart till driven to a humdrum –

tantrums pleading of a tainted child.
