You're the protagonist
You're where the magic is
King bee
You are the superstar
You rocketed so far
Away from me
Don't know who you are now
You're higher than any cloud
Can't you see
Don't know you anymore
Can only look up and watch you soar
Flying free
You are a hole in one
You make life look so much fun
Make it look easy
You wave to the flashing lights
Wear sunshades through the night
Oh please
You look good without a care
You're floating on thin air
Everyone's still shady
Walking on thinner glass
Younger days by in a flash
It's crazy
You're begging on your knees
You cry and you plead
To stay on the screen
But that's impossible
You are unbreakable
You're nowhere to be seen
You were the protagonist
You were once missed
There is no we
You were a superstar
You rocketed so far
Away from me
Don't know who you are now
Were higher than any cloud
Now crawling
Don't know you anymore
Locked out of every open door
You're falling
Don't try grab on
To every old bond
You've made
Don't try to catch yourself
Bribing with what little wealth
Had stayed
You left me years ago
Now you're plummeting below
To the ground
Struggling above the sea
Looking around in desperate need
No ones around
Prettier faces fill the box
Time ticks on the clocks
Who are you
You are a memory
There is no remedy
Nothing I can do
Im all you've got around
Since your "friends" left town
You're falling apart
I said I'd stay by you're side
Even though you changed your mind
Cross my heart
I won't say I told you so
I won't salt the wounds oh no
You had your shine
You're the protagonist
You're where the magic is
Once upon a time
You looked like a clown
Ankles tied and bound
On cloud nine
Broadway days are open sores
You couldn't take it anymore
Crossed the line
You don't need a limelight
To shine bright in the night
You're fine
You were a superstar
You rocketed so far
Now you're mine
We can watch tv
We can both see
Who is new
They party every night
Around the world out of sight
Until their fame spree is due
