Dark Turns

Take my hand.

All my contraband.

Screw this town.

I'm running out.

Run with me.

Grass green weed.

There are no tears to cry.

No, not when you're living high.

Your kiss is sharp.

It leaves a mark.

Leaves me with a smile.

If only you'd stay a longer while.

Hold me closer.

Ride this coaster.

Take me far far away.

With my emotions you play.

Tease my brain.

Drive me insane.

Keys in my ignition.

Too fast decisions.

In love with you I fell.

Casted under your spell.

Poison in my veins.

When gone, you leave such pain.

How creative you twist my mind.

Your torture is one of a kind.

I realise you really can't change.

But I'm already trapped in chains.

My nose is burning in flames.

But I have no other to blame.

My lungs fight for the air I breathe.

While I inhale the poison I need.

Tears soak my once dry skin.

I know I cannot stop my sins.

Years and years of wear and tear.

My body is breaking beyond repair.

Money seems to never stay long.

I use it to pay for all my wrongs.

Life ends too soon.

If I'm going to end it now, I'll die a happy loon.

I'll suffocate in peace.

I'll bleed with glee.

Slowing heart beats.

Close my eyes and set me free.
