parker asked me out a week later. 

i laughed because i thought it was a joke, or a dare, or a prank. but he said it like he didn't care who heard him. he looked at me like i was the only one that matter. his eyes never left me once. those god damn eyes that could make me dissolve into nothing. 

so i said yes. the word was hesitant to leave my mouth. 

like this was something that was going to end terribly before it even started. 

i really hoped it didn't though.
