i was nervous to meet him.  so nervous. i sent him a text that i parked my car and began walking to the ihop entrance. turns out we both love a mean stack of pancakes.

i could tell it was him standing to the side as i got closer. "hey!" i smiled, opening my arms. he sighed with a big smile, accepting my hug.

"hey," he nearly blushed before letting go. "you look really pretty."

"you think?" i giggled, opening the door and standing in line. "it's just a sweatshirt."

ethan shrugged and stood next to me. "you probably look good in everything."

we were laughing at the table and eating. "so you make videos?" i asked, getting to know him.

he nodded with a smile. we've been smiling all night. "yeah, my brother and i have done it for awhile now."

"that's so cool," i hummed. "i wish i had a sibling or something to do that with."

"only child?" i nodded. "i couldn't imagine that."

i laughed, taking a sip of my milkshake. "yeah, it's pretty boring."

"how did you get all the followers? like, what do you do?"

"i take photos and look pretty," he rolled his eyes with a smile. "i know, tough job." i had about 338k followers before ethan posted about me.

"i guess i just met people along the way, like madison. she's my bff now and all her friends just became my friends."

ethan shook his head. "well, i think i am your bff now, but no biggie."

after two hours of just sitting together, ethan walked me out to my car. "i had a really good time." i blushed.

"does that mean i'm honored a second date?" he rested one hand on my car.

"i think it does."

"i'm looking forward to it." he whispered, looking at me. ethan tucked loose hair behind my ear and his eyes flicked as my heart raced.

he slowly and cautiously leaned down, pressing his lips to mine.  my eyes fluttered shut and i grazed my hand to his chest, returning the kiss.

we pulled away shortly after and i could feel that my face was bright pink. "i'll, um, i'll text you. if that's cool?"

i nodded, biting my lip with smile. "goodnight, ethan."
