i walked outside the building and saw ethan's black car. "hey!" i hurried over and he got out of the car. he wrapped his arms around my waist, tightly. i furrowed my eyebrows in confusion, putting my arms around his neck.

ethan put his head in my shoulder. "you okay?" i asked, letting him hold me. he nodded and innocently kiss my neck.

"i missed you," he sighed. "i got all tight over nothing."

i dragged my fingers through his hair, slightly. "we're kinda in my school lot." he laughed and pulled away.

"excuse me," i heard. "can i have a picture with you?" some girl was talking to ethan. he looked at me, nodding.

"i can take it," i offered. she smiled, thanking me as i took a step back.  flashing a fake smile, i watched her wrap her arms around him. "okay." i handed her phone back and took his hand.

ethan looked down at me, smirking, almost knowing how jealous i was getting. she thanked us again and walked away. "we're in the school lot." he mocked me.

"well, she's, like, all over you," i fixed the sides of his shirt. "you're basically with her."

he laughed, rolling his eyes, placing his hand on my jaw. "you are not about to kiss me at school."

"i'm not?" he asked. "are you gonna stop me or something." ethan leaned down and i moved my head, laughing. "stop." he grabbed my cheeks and pushed his lips on mine.

i smiled, and laid my hands on his shoulders. "okay!" i giggled, trying to pull away. he kissed me one last time and opened the car door. "get in."

we walked up to into my house and my mom was cooking dinner already. my dad doesn't get home from work until later. since my mom is a lawyer, she can just work from home.

"hi, mom," i smiled. "this is ethan." ethan smiled and hugged her hello.

"nice to meet you." he said, letting go.

my mom smiled and winked at me. "so, you're the boy she's always talking about on the phone." "okay, mom-" "okay, you kids have fun. not too much fun!"

"that is the most mom thing you've ever said to me," i sighed and brought ethan to my room.  "what are the plans for tonight?"

"i actually wanted to go on a drive, like soon." i nodded checking my phone. "we should probably go now. my mom is cooking dinner, so." "sounds good." he smiled and we walked back downstairs.

"mom, we're going on a drive," i called out. "we'll be back for dinner." we got into his car and i plugged my phone into the aux while he drove.

it took about twenty minutes to get to a open hiking trail. "you took me hiking?" i raised my eyebrows.

"no," he laughed. "it's not really hiking. c'mon." we got out and walked together hand in hand. it was a really tiny hill that took us to a view of the sunset.

"very cute," i giggled. "cliche, but cute." he smiled, walking ahead of me. as he turned to grab my hand, i took a picture.

we sat down on the edge and started talking. "so we're here," i nudged him. "now what?"

"okay, alright. our first date was a month ago, and less than a week later you told me that you would say yes if i asked you out," i smiled, looking up at him. "it's taken me way too long to do this, but i wanted to know if you would be my girlfriend. or something."

i rolled my eyes, smiling wide. "i'd love to be your girlfriend or something," i gently kissed his cheek and stood up. "let's go eat."

my dad was home by the time we got back. "hey dad," i hugged him. "this is ethan." he looked at him while shaking his hand.

"boyfriend?" ethan looked at me and i just nodded. "uh, yeah." "evon, you didn't tell me about a boyfriend."

"well, it happened like twenty minutes ago." i smiled, sitting down at the table. my mom smiled at me while she got the plates together.
