jake, brennen and i were sitting at the park in the rain. it was cold, but none of us wanted to go home, we didn't want to have to do homework, and we all new are parents would be making us do it as soon as we got home.

"fine, but if she doesn't reply, imma be pissed off at you guys."

"guys, shes on her way." i said.

i tried to hide my smile but failed, i knew brennen and jake were gonna joke about this at school tomorrow at lunch, but that didn't bother me right now, i was more than excited to hang with lexi, no matter how long or short it lasted.

a few minutes passed and there was the sound of the rain and a penny board being rolled over to the park. it caught all of our attention and we all looked over to the figure on the penny board.

"hey my dudes." the figure said.

"lexi?" jake whispered to me.

"yeah." i whispered back.

her brown hair was soaked from the rain, but it still looked nice, she also had no makeup on and i think she looked even more gorgeous with out it. i could see her eyes light up when she got closer to us, god, she was so beautiful.

"relax, im not a stranger, its just lexi." she said as she walked into view.

"hey," i said, "this is uh, jake and brennen."

"i know, i have classes with them, its nice to finally talk to you guys though."

"its nice to talk to you too." jake said.

"dido." brennen replied.

lexi walked away from us and walked over to the swings.

we all looked at each other and shrugged. us three got up and followed her.

"so, i yelled at sam by the way, hes pretty mad at me, but i think he'll leave you alone, but for real, if any of them fuck with you, please just tell me, i'd rather not my asshole friends fuck with my actual nice friends." she smiled at us three. "can i call you guys my friends?"

"yeah" and "yes" went around.

"good, because even if i haven't talked much to you guys, i already trust you." lexi said as she got off the swing.

"how come you talk to us?" brennen blurted out.

i hit brennen in the chest and looked at lexi, she didn't looked fased by the question.

"i dont know, you're human, im human, you guys are nice and not trying to fuck every vagina in sight."

i let out a laugh, "shit sorry."

"nah, nah, you're good."

the night went by pretty slow, but we got to know lexi a little more, we learned that she cared about what people thought of her, but also did what she wanted, we also learned that she cared about school and her grades and what kind of college she wanted to go to. she cares more about things than what you would think.
