COLBY BROCK - friday

"colby get up, i'm serious this time." my mom said.

i rolled my eyes and got out of bed. it was friday, and after school, lexi invited all of us, including sam, to her house. i was not excited. i wanted to stay home and act sick, i wanted to hide under these blankets and never come out.

i throw on a quick outfit ^ and grabbed my bag. i looked into my mirror and saw my hair was a complete mess, but i blew it off, if lexi likes me, she won't after she sees what i look like right now. im a complete mess.

"brennen is here, he's waiting outside." my mom said.

brennen and i are going to school together today so we can go straight to lexi's after, honestly, he could just run me over with his car and we would be good.

i walked down the stairs and grabbed an apple, then walking out the door to brennen's car. jake was in the back seat, sleeping. i got into the passenger side.

"rough morning?" brennen asked.

"yes." i smiled at him.

"here." he said and grabbed a brush out of the center counsel in his car.

"thanks."

about 10 minutes later, brennen pulled into the school parking lot. i pushed jake awake and he moaned annoyed.

"jake get up we are at school." brennen said.

"fine." he sat up.

i laughed at him and got out of the car.

"colby!" someone yelled behind me. i turned around and kat, devyn and lexi were there.

"hey, i'm here to you know?" jake joked.

"yeah, me too." brennen said.

i laughed at the three and devyn and lexi walked up to me.

"we need to talk." was all lexi said before her and devyn pulled me to the school.

i was a little concerned seeing as they seemed to be very serious.

"okay, stop, tell me whats happening?" i said, pulling my hands away. we were standing in an empty hall.

they started laughing. "nothing, we just wanted to know what kind of pizza you wanted and if you knew what brennen and jake liked, but we wanted to scare you first?" lexi kept giggling.

god she was cute. i loved her laugh.

"okay first, i hate you guys. second, pepperoni, always pepperoni." i smiled at lexi and her face lit up with a perfect smile as well.

i haven't noticed her in a while, i mean i'v noticed her, but not her. her beautiful brown eyes and her shiny long brown hair. or her recently painted dark pink nails. i haven't noticed her gorgeous smile and small freckles that show only when she is outside in the sun. she was just perfect. god i was in love with her.

the bell rang and it took me out of my stance. lexi smiled at me and walked away with devyn. "see you second hour colby." she said and waved.

"yeah."
