4.Lies

You sat on the couch and watched a random drama. You stared at the screen as the main protagonist said something to his mom. God, you were bored. You made your way to Jimin's modem and switched it on. You had found his WiFi password on a piece of paper hidden under the modem. You switched on your WiFi on your phone and went to Amino.

The last few days had been so uneventful you'd almost died from the boredom. One would think living with Jimin would be a ton of fun but immediately after making breakfast he'd go out. He'd order lunch for you and then not turn up until 8. You were left on your own in his condo. Both of you hadn't even conversed for than five minutes.

You dumped your breakfast into the fridge. You weren't hungry. You went to your playlist and decided to sing some korean songs horribly off tune just to get a bit excited. You felt brain-dead from watching TV or being on your phone the whole day and not having any interaction with humans. You went through your playlist and finally decided to play 'Lie' by your forever absent roommate. You started grinning the minute the music playing. Pumping up the volume you jumped on the couch and started singing. You singing was the stuff of nightmares especially if it was korean.

You sang as you jumped around on the couch, screeching your lungs out. You turned and immediately stopped singing. You were facing a stunned Jimin standing in the doorway, jaw hanging.

You immediately got of the couch and ran to stop the song. You quickly pressed the pause button and glanced at Jimin. He was still standing in the doorway looking like he had just seen his parents do it.

"Wh-What?" He stuttered and you promptly turned red. You were so fucking embarrassed.

"Ummm... Nothing?" You suggested and you mentally slapped yourself for how dumb you were. That sounded more like a question than an answer.

"Caught in a lie." He smiled as he walked towards you.

"I get that reference." You grinned as you winked at him. He chuckled and shook his head at your stupidity.

"I forgot my keys and may I ask how you know the lyrics but not korean?" He asked as he made his way to his bedroom, where you had been sleeping for the past few days.

"Oh, I just mugged up the lyrics, I have only a little clue of what they actually mean." You replied as you followed him to his bedroom. You watched as he shook his head at how ridiculous you were. He picked up his keys which were lying on the dressing table and walked out of the room. Seeing him walking out, leaving you alone in the room touched a nerve.

"Where do you keep going?" You asked and immediately slapped your hand to your mouth so that you wouldn't say anything else and make it worse.
