Baekhyun woke from his nap feeling happy and refreshed. He yawned while he stretched, rubbing his eyes while he sat up. He glanced around the room, noticing he had fallen asleep on his couch. He yawned again as he got up and walked to his kitchen. He decided to get a glass of water before searching for Chanyeol, when clipped to the fridge he saw a note. He pulled it down and read:

Hey, Baekkie 🖤

I went out to grab us breakfast. Your food options were running low so maybe we can go shopping later? Anyway, be back soon.

Baekhyun pouted at the note, but still felt a flutter in his heart. He sighed and took another sip of his water before grabbing out Honey's food and lightly shaking the bag. She came running around the corner, her little pink feet softly padding across the hard wood floor before she came to a stop in front of Baekhyun. She began to mew and Baekhyun rubbed the soft fur just above her nose. He poured her food and refreshed her water bowl, ran his fingertips along her back, and made his way back into the living room.

He settled on the couch and reached for his phone, checking his email for any messages concerning job applications he had sent out. He didn't have any yet, and sighing, he tossed his phone back onto the coffee table.

Honey jumped onto the couch beside him and crawled into his lap. He absentmindedly stroked her fur, his head leaning back against the couch with his eyes closed.

Another moment later, his phone began to ring. He sighed and reached for it.

"Hello?" he asked, not having bothered to look at the caller ID.

"Hello, sweetheart!" his mother's bright voice replied.

Baekhyun's mood instantly lifted and he said, "Hi!"

She chuckled on the other end and asked, "Sweetheart, would you like to have dinner together later? You could invite Chanyeol along if you want too?"

Baekhyun smiled and said, "That would be nice. I'd love for you to finally be able to officially met."

"So have you gotten more of your memory back then, Hon?" she asked.

Baekhyun blushed and said, "Yeah. I feel like I'm missing things here and there, but for the most part a lot has returned."

"I'm so happy to hear that! Where there any certain triggers that helped you?" she asked.

Baekhyun's cheeks grew hotter and he mumbled, "Um . . . Just little things here and there, Mom...."

That wasn't exactly true, it was more like the night Chanyeol and Baekhyun recreated their first date that things began to come back to him faster. As well as when they had sex —- all moments that invoked emotion and feeling and sensation.

"That's good to hear. Would you like to do dinner, then? Your father will be able to come to, and maybe Sehun can come along and invite his boyfriend? We haven't had the chance to meet him, yet."

Baekhyun chuckled and said, "Oh, you'll love him. Luhan's great and he does an amazing job at keeping Sehun in his place."

His mom chuckled and said, "Well, I have to go, sweetheart. I'll call you again later with the details for dinner."

Baekhyun nodded and replied, "Okay, see you later. Love you!"

"I love you too, Baekhyun. Bye, dear."

"Bye, Mom," Baekhyun said before the line went dead.

He sighed, a small smile curving his lips. He picked up his kitten, who had fallen asleep in his lap and craddled her in his arms as he headed for his bedroom. He laid her down onto the bed before turning to his closet and shifting through his things, looking for something suitable for dinner with his parents.

When he found something, he turned to lay it on his bed and cooed at the adorable sight of Honey. He pulled out his phone and took a picture and uploaded it to his Instagram as he heard his front door open followed by Chanyeol's voice calling, "Baekkie? I got us breakfast from that café you love. Where are you, babe?"

"The bedroom," Baekhyun called back.

"You better not be in any compromising positions, I'm really hungry. And no, I didn't mean for that to sound like it did," Chanyeol called as he walked into the bedroom. "Oh my God," he muttered. "That's adorable."

Baekhyun grinned and said, "Isn't it though?"
