Chanyeol and Baekhyun dressed nicely for their date, taking a cab to an expensive restaurant that Chanyeol had reserved for the night. He didn't care about the cost, he just wanted this night to be perfect.

Chanyeol kept a gentle hand on the small of Baekhyun's back as he lead him inside, waiting for the waitress to seat them. He pulled out Baekhyun's chair for him, and before the waitress could leave to assist other patrons, he whispered something to her before sliding a precious gem into her hand. She smiled back and promised to return shortly.

Baekhyun didn't notice a thing.

"Channie, this place is expensive. Are you sure about eating here? I mean, it's only a job . . ." Baekhyun mumbled.

Chanyeol glanced up from his menu and noticed over Baekhyun's head the waitress returning with a set of glasses, plates, a cloth napkin with silverware rolled inside, and a bottle of wine. He smiled and glanced back down at his menu as he muttered, "Tonight's special, baby. Please, just enjoy it okay? Don't worry about the cost."

Baekhyun sighed but relented as he mumbled, "Okay, Channie . . ."

Just then, the waitress arrived. She placed the wine glasses down first, then the plates, the wrapped silverware, and the wine. She smiled at Chanyeol and winked before leaving. Chanyeol fought back his own smile and reached for the wine. He twisted out the cork with a pop and poured the respectable amount of wine into their glasses.

Baekhyun had been chatting away and when he glanced down at the table, going to straighten his napkin, he noticed a flash of dazzling light and frowned at it curiously. Then he gasped and his eyes widened as they shot up to Chanyeol, who was already raising from his seat and reaching for the napkin as he pulled off the ring. He bent down on one knee and reached for one of Baekhyun's hands that sat limply on the table from shock.

"Byun Baekhyun, we've know each other for close to a year now, but from the first day I met you, I already knew you were going to be unforgettable. I fell in love with you like I was flying from the sky. So, would you make me so happy as to marry me?"

Tears rolled down Baekhyun's cheek as he weakly nodded his head and whispered, "Yes, Chanyeol. Of course, I'll marry you."

Chanyeol smiled as he slid the ring onto Baekhyun's finger before standing up to pull him into a hug. Baekhyun hugged him back furiously and whispered, "I love you," as the room around them erupted into clapping and words of congratulations.
