Baekhyun was released from the hospital after four days.

He was in his mother's car —- his father was at work attending an important meeting —- and she was driving him back home.

"So, sweetheart. Your brother called me earlier saying he was going to come over later. I have to go back to the office soon, I'm sorry, but Sehun will answer any questions you have. Okay? And....Chanyeol called me too . . ." She sighed. "He really misses you, baby. You should think about seeing him, it'll help your recovery."

Upon the mention of Chanyeol's name, Baekhyun's lips began to tingle. It's been that way ever since they kissed four days ago. Every time Chanyeol was mentioned, this almost electrifying energy would course along his skin. He would feel many different emotions with the sensation, but the one that was always the most dominant was love.

And Baekhyun couldn't deny what he felt —- even if his memories where lost —- he loved him. There was no doubt about it. But he was afraid. He was afraid because what if he never remembered? What if they just drifted apart?

But that was silly, they could always rebuild their relationship with new memories, even though Baekhyun wanted new memories and his old memories. It would just be sweeter that way.

Maybe his memories would come back spontaneously, like in a romantic way . . .? The thought had him blushing.

"Dear, we're here," his mother's voice pulled him from his thoughts.

Baekhyun blushed again and turned to his mom with a smile as he asked, "Do you have time to come in?"

She shook her head regretfully and said, "I'm sorry, sweetheart, but I have to get back to work. I'll call you later, or maybe I can come by for a visit? How does that sound?"

Baekhyun smiled and replied, "That sounds great mom. Thanks. I love you." He leaned forward to give her hug before he had to get out, and waved as she drove away.

Baekhyun sighed, and then he turned to face his apartment.
