Baekhyun walked out of his interview with a smile, his new name tag and lanyard safely tucked away in his bag. He decided to skip hailing down a cab for walking instead. He was so happy he could skip and sing his way home.

When he finally made it to the door step of his apartment, he took a deep breath and forced his glowing smile into a static look of disappointment. He sighed heavily for an added effect and unlocked the door, making his movements lazy and lethargic as he pushed the door open. He sighed heavily again, drawing the attention of Chanyeol.

He glanced up from Honey, who he had been playing with on the floor. He looked at Baekhyun with a smile that slowly slipped away as he took in Baekhyun's appearance.

"Bunny?" Chanyeol asked as he stood up, tossing Honey's toy onto the coffee table. "What's wrong, baby?"

Baekhyun pouted out his bottom lip and forced tears to his eyes. Hurt passed over Chanyeol's face —- causing guilt to ping in Baekhyun's chest. Chanyeol reached out for Baekhyun, cupping one of his cheeks as he softly asked, "Baekkie, what happened?"

"I . . . got the job," Baekhyun said, his face changing from fake sadness to glowing happiness as he threw his arms around a confused Chanyeol and kissed his cheek.

"Wait? You got the job? Then why did you come inside all sad?"

Baekhyun giggled and pulled back, pecking Chanyeol's cheek as he responded, "Because I thought it would be funny."

Chanyeol pouted and mumbled, "No, it was cruel. I thought you didn't get the job."

Baekhyun pouted too and gently caressed Chanyeol's cheek. "Sorry, baby. I was only playing. I love you. Forgive my cruelty?"

Chanyeol smiled lightly and pecked Baekhyun's nose. "Always. But now, since you are officially in the world of the employed, would you like to celebrate?"

Baekhyun smiled and happily cried, "Of course!"
