Jungkook's POV
My depression has gotten worse.
I took sleeping pills because I could never sleep since I was too busy with crying.
My parents got worried, especially my mom. My dad left for a business trip. She noticed my eyebags, my pale skin and my extreme weight loss.
This didn't bother me. I just went to school like any other kid. Tae usually doesn't walk to school with me. He has an expensive car.
"Hey kooks, need a ride?", Tae yelled because the motor was too loud. I nodded and placed myself on the backseat. He parked on the parking lot and we walked to school together.
I recently heard that Tae lost a few friends because of me. The guilt had gotten to me, which made me cry in the night again.
At lunch break Tae sat with me again. He never does that. "Why are you hanging out with me so often recently? ", I broke the silence between us two. "I don't have anyone to go to now. You are the one, who is still my friend.", I gaped and tears brimmed in my eyes as I stood up. "I'm sorry that I'm such a burden to you. I didn't know you lost your friends. I'll just stay away then.", I left the cafeteria.
I sat on the bench next to the basketball court minding my business, which was listening to music with dried tears on my cheeks, until the Seniors came. "Hey faggot stand up!", Mia, the only girl amongst them, ordered.
I stood up hesitantly, not knowing what she was up to. "Hey Kevin, come here.", she gestured at a muscly looking guy. "Do what you have to do."
That's when it started. He punched my jaw as I felt a sudden sting on the side of my face. Jared, another one of the guys, kicked me in the stomach. I started crying when I saw blood coming out of my mouth. "Please.", I whimpered. Some other guy pushed me onto the ground kicked me without mercy. I could feel my cuts burst open and my white sleeve was red in mere seconds. They saw the damage they did and left me there to bleed to death.
I woke up in a white room. I sat up and recognised it as a hospital room. The doctor was talking to my mom, until she saw that I was awake. "Sweetie, are you okay? ", she said, concerned. "Please be honest. The cuts on you body aren't from the bullies, but I know they are one of the reasons.", I nodded slowly, the memories from a few hours ago coming back into my head. "You dad and I have made a decision. You are going to transfer schools.", I stared at her disbelief, but then hugged her while crying again. I knew I was a crybaby, but I had to let out my hidden feelings. "Thanks mom. Can I go home now?", she nodded and held my hand while we went into the car.
What surprised me was that I had to go to that school tomorrow already. It was a private school. My mom said that it was expensive, but nothing in comparison to the pain I had to endure.
I texted Taehyung.
Me
Hey tae, I have to tell you something.
Taelien
Yo, what is it?
Me
I'm transferring schools
Taelien
What? But I think it's better since you got bullied. It's only fair.
Me
Will you miss me?
Taelien
Ofcourse! You are my best friend.
Me
I am?! Let's stay in contact.
Taelien
Did you think I would stop texting you? Of course not. I have to go now, see you sometime around bro♥
Me
See youI
sighed, putting my phone down. Tomorrow would be walking around a school I never heard of in an uniform. I was anxious. My mom said it was expensive, which means there would be alot of rich children. I didn't know how to act around richies! I didn't want to make a bad impression.
*Time skip*
Today was the day. I stood in front of the huge castle. My mom was beside me, knocking on the huge wooden door. A small woman opened the door and let us in. We went up a lot of stairs and I panted heavily. Not eating alot hadn't done anything good to me.
My mom and I entered a very big room. The curtains were made out of silk, the carpet was fluffy and smooth. There was a table in the middle of the room with a big leather chair behind it. The files on the table were neatly stacked up. A woman sat on the chair. She looked very neat and her hair was tied to the back very strongly. She also wore rectangle glasses, which were placed on her nose.
My mother began talking. "Hello, I'm Mrs. Jeon. I'm here because my son will start here today." The woman looked up from the report on her desk "His schedule and dorm number will be provided by Amy, my secretary. I will talk to you, Mrs. Jeon, while your son, Jeongguk I presume, will discover the school for a bit. I assigned a student to show him around. He waiting outside." She smiled tightly and I slowly walked to the oak door where we came from.
Even though the principal said there would be a student outside, I was still startled. "Hey.", I began awkwardly. The boy didn't seem to stop smiling. He gave me his hand to shake it. "Hello! I'm Jung Hoseok, but you can call me Hobi."
I shook his hand while smiling. This boy had a happy aura around him, which even made the saddest people smile at him.
We went down the stairs again and Hobi opened another huge oak door. I guessed it was the dining hall. A few students sat there, learning. 4 rows of tables were next to each other. A lot of chandeliers hung from the ceiling, which made it look more exquisite.
Hobi tugged at my arm. "We can't stay here all day sadly. I haven't shown you the important parts of the castle yet." We went to a different staircase and ge dragged me upstairs. Surprisingly, there was a elevator when we reached it. "You can only enter the elevator with your dorm key and since you don't have one, I'll use mine. We can only reach my floor with my key. " Hobi explained as I had asked why there were no buttons. We entered the dorm part and I was stunned. The halls were a dark shad of purple with, again, chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. There was a little room at the end of the hall that said 'Common room'. Hobi realised that I was staring at it and said it was room where a lot of students gather up to talk or do homework together.
"Everybody has a dorm mate, so get ready for one. My dorm mate is Yugyeom.", Hobi said.
Hobi grabbed a file from his back. It was my file with my schedule, dorm keys and personal information. "What a coincidence! We are on the same floor. You have dorm number 304. Wait a second...that's Yoongi's room!" I was happy about the fact thay we were on the same floor, but I didnt know who Yoongi was. "Yoongi can be a little grumpy sometimes, but he is pretty nice and veeery lazy.", Hobi told me about my new dorm mate.
He gave me my file and I took out my keys. I opened my new dorm and it looked like a president suite of a 5-star hotel. "Hello?", I shouted, a little shyly. Steps could be heard and a small guy emerged from a room, wearing loose clothes.
"Who are you? Yo Hobi!", Yoongi said. "This. Jeongguk. New. Dormmate. ", Hobi introduced me.
Yoongi showed me his gummy smile and took me from there. Hobi left and said he had to go and do homework. Yoongi showed me around the dorm and soon and unbelievably, we became friends.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I had to end it somehow so yeah. I think I kind of rushed the story line, Jungkook being hit and stuff and in the next moment he gets into a new school. From now on, I'll take it slower so it won't confuse you guys.
