Kyle's Secret

Y/n's POV

The Squip asked me what I wanted to do today. I didn't really know, until I got a call from someone. It was Kyle. The Squip shook his head at me and I stuck my tongue out, while picking up the call. "Hey Y/n!" Kyle said. "Hey Kyle! What's up?" I asked. "Well.. I was wondering if you wanted to go to the park again. If so, I'm bringing food and drinks!" He replied. I loved how cute Kyle was. "I'm totally up for going to the park! Do you mind if I bring a friend of mine?" I asked. "Uhh.. Sure! You can bring a friend! I'll bring extra food!" Kyle responded. "Thanks Kyle! When are we meeting at the park?" "Well now, I'm on my way! I'll be where we were last night!" Kyle said. "Alright see ya soon!" I said. "Byyye!" I hung up and looked to the Squip. "You need to get ready." I said. "W-..what do you mean?" He replied. "You're going to the park with me!" I said as I stuffed my face with the pancakes. "Why me?" He asked. "Well I just thought, since you're so worried about me being around Kyle, you can come!" I replied. "*Sigh* Fine." The Squip walked into my moms room and came out with new clothing a minute later. "Where did you find those?" I asked. "Your mother still had some of your ste-... ex step-fathers clothing lying around. They fit fine." He replied. He was wearing a light blue button down shirt and a navy blue tie, underneath a light olive sweatshirt, black jeans, and brown loafers. He actually looked really good.. "Why thank you Y/n, I know I am very attractive." He said with a smirk. I hate it when he smirks.

After Squip got ready I took my plate to the sink and set it down. "I'm gonna go get ready now!" I said as I stretched. "Be quick, we need to get there soon." Squip replied. I nodded and quickly ran up the stairs to get ready.

-TIME SQUIP TO WALKING TO PARK-

As me and Squip were walking to the park, I noticed he kept shining glances in my direction. I knew it was because of my outfit. It's not something he would pick out but it was still super cute! I was wearing a black, long-sleeved shirt underneath a maroon overall-dress, and, of course, my black converse. "Hey Squip?" I asked. "Yes, Y/n?" Squip replied. "I look ok.. right?.." I asked again. I didn't want Kyle to think I looked silly, I kind of liked Kyle. "You look perfectly fine, Y/n." He replied. "Oh.. ok."

-ANOTHA TIME SQUIP TO PARK-

Squip's POV

Once we reached the hill that Y/n and Kyle were on last night, Kyle had already been there for ten minutes. Kyle saw Y/n and was smiling brightly, until he saw me. He looked at me in surprise, probably because I am much taller than Y/n in my human form. "Hey Kyle!" Y/n said. "Hey guys!" Kyle replied. Y/n and I sat down on the blanket Kyle had laid out on the ground. "So Kyle, this is..uh..um.. Eric!" Y/n said. Eric? I like it. "E-Eric.." Y/n turned to me. "This is Kyle!"

Narrator's POV

After a few minutes of getting to know each other, Y/n, and Kyle started eating the food that he brought. "Hey Kyle, do you mind if I go look at the pond? I just want you guys to get to know each other a bit more!" Y/n said, smiling brightly. Kyle replied straight away. "Go ahead, but be back soon!" Y/n thanked Kyle and waved goodbye to both of the boys. "So.. how old are you exactly?.." Kyle asked Squip. "Uhm.. well I'm.. (whatever age you want him to be)." Squip replied. "Yeah and I'm Hannibal Lector. Seriously bud. How old are you?" Kyle was getting pushy now. "It's the truth." Squip said, raising an eyebrow. "Well.. whatever." Kyle said. "So how long have you known Y/n?" Squip asked. He already knew the answer but he wanted to see if Kyle would lie, because it had only been 2 days. "U-um.. well.. a few weeks actually. We're probably the best of friends!" Kyle said. "Oh.. cool." Squip replied. "H-how long have you known Y/n?.." Kyle asked. "Well let's see.. years actually." The Squip lied back at Kyle just to mess with him. "oh.. ok.." Kyle said. "HEY GUYS GUESS WHAT!!" Was what surprised both Squip and Kyle. They looked to see Y/n running towards them. "What is it?" Squip asked. "Well, there was this duck, and it came up to me, and I fed it, and It let me pet it, and I got photos!" Y/n replied. "That's awesome!!" Kyle said. "Was it cute?" Squip asked. "Of course it was cute, just look!" Y/n then showed Squip pictures of the duck. "That's adorable! Just like you.." Squip accidently said.

Y/n and Squip looked at each other and both blushed. "S-sorry.. I was just.. I meant.. uhm.." Squip said scratching the back of his neck. "Oh Sq- I mean.. Eric! You're such a big cheese!" Y/n said laughing with Squip. Kyle felt like with "Eric" around, he could never have Y/n. They were so close, and "Eric" looked and acted much more mature than Kyle. He didn't want to let Y/n go... He loved her.

-TIME SQUIP THROUGH PICNIC-

It was about 1:26 pm now, and Squip and Y/n were on their way home. "So what do you think of the name I gave you?" Y/n said beaming with hope. "I think it's amazing!" Squip replied. Y/n blushed and hugged Squip. "Thank you!" She said. "You're welcome." The Squip smiled. "Hey Squip?" Y/n asked as she let go of the hug. "Yes?" .."Can you carry me?.." The Squip was shocked but complied. Y/n jumped onto Squip's back, and soon enough, She fell asleep.

Squip's POV

I don't know why I was feeling this way for Y/n. She is my host.. not my friend.. or even my-.. whatever. I need to get her to bed. Once we were home, I quickly stepped upstairs, and walk into Y/n's room, placing Y/n on her bed and pulling a blanket over her.

Kyle's POV

How can I make sure he stays away from her? I can't threaten him, he's way taller than me and could probably beat my ass.. maybe they really are just friends.. You know that's not true. I know but it's possible.. Don't be stupid. They're clearly a thing. You need to break it. I need to break it..
