Y/n's POV

When me and Kyle got to my house, I asked him if he would be ok walking home. "Of course I'll be ok, Y/n! You need to sleep. What time is it by the way?" Kyle asked. "It's.. 8:37." I said as I checked my phone. "Alright well, I see ya tomorrow!" Kyle said. I opened the front door and said goodbye to him. As he was walking away, I closed the door and hummed to myself "to break in a glove." from Dear Evan Hansen.

I was about to walk up the stairs when I heard a voice from behind me ask me who the boy was at the door. I turned around. "Oh.. hey mom." "Y/n who was that??" My mom frantically asked. "I- uh.. just a friend. Like Michael! He's a boy too, and you let me hang with him, so please don't be mad!" I said. She nodded and continued talking. "I'm going to be gone this weekend. No parties ok?" My mom said. I laughed. "Of course! But why are you telling me this now?.. Are you leaving now?" I asked. She nodded again and I shrugged and gave her a big hug.

-TIME SQUIP, MOM IS GONE-

I changed into the same hoodie I was wearing the other night, and I put my hair up into a messy bun. When I was done, I set my backpack onto the dining room table, and grabbed my drink out from it. "Reactivate." I said as I put my drink in the fridge. "Finally. Now why didn't you listen to me?" Squip said. "Because I didn't have to? You're not my mom." I replied. "Look, just please think about what I say. I'm going to make dinner." The Squip glitched into human form and started getting the ingredients together. Just as he was about to open the fridge, I bumped him out of the way and scooped up my drink. He sighed and continued getting the ingredients.

As I opened my drink, I asked Squip why he doesn't trust Kyle. "Because Y/n, you two became friends way to fast. The only time friendship happens that quickly is in elementary school." He said. He was kind of right.. I guess. "Well.. I still trust him." I said as I drank my drink. "Hey no soda before dinner-" The Squip started glitching violently. "S-Squip?? What's happening?!" The tall man was now on the floor holding his head. "W-wHaT iS tHAt?!" The Squip was yelling in pain. "It was just a mountain dew!" I started tearing up. I dropped the soda and ran over to the Squip. I sat on the floor trying to comfort him from whatever was happening. "What kind.. of mountain dew?!.." He yelled. "M-mountain dew code red!"

I was stunned. What have I done? "Y-Y/n!.. You have to hide!.." Squip said, holding his head with one hand and stabling himself on the floor with the other. I was so confused. "I'm not going to leave you here!" I replied. He looked up at me, and his eyes were no longer their signature neon blue. They were bright red. "NOW!!" He yelled. I quickly ran upstairs into my room. and hid in my closet. What was happening?...

(In this story, Code: Red makes the Squip extremely angry. Possibly even dangerous.)

Squip's POV

I never thought this would happen.. why did she drink that? That fucking bitch. DAMMIT! I just keep getting angrier every minute! What do I do?! I can't believe she did this to me. She knew this would happen. Fucking whore. No! I'm not angry.. its just that fucking drink! "Where the fuck are you?!" I'm going to rip her to fucking shreds. No.. goddammit.. I made my way up the stairs looking for Y/n. She's going to regret drinking that shit. "Come out, bitch!" I don't mean it.. "Come on slut! You are even more pathetic than I thought!" She's going to hate me..

Narrator's POV

After about 4 minutes of the Squip yelling out to Y/n, he started punching things. He was punching the walls, throwing things at windows, and kicking at doors. Y/n was absolutely terrified. She was very quietly crying, stuck in her closet, when she heard pounding on her bedroom door. And then.. a loud bang. Silence was emitted, making Y/n cry even harder. She was no longer quiet. Sniffles and sobs could be heard from her closet. After seconds, the closet door was opened. The Squip was there. "Get up." was all he said. Y/n did as told and had her arms wrapped around herself. "S-Squip.. I-I didn't mean t-to drink it.." Y/n said through sobs. The Squip looked down at her, and she looked up at him. "You meant to drink it. You knew this would happen.. didn't you?" Y/n shook her head and pleaded him for forgiveness, but the Squip was no longer a nice, chill guy. He was a monster.

Y/n had tried to say deactivate but it didn't work when Squip was in human form. It was no use. She could only do one thing, that might work, but she didn't know if it would work, and that's what concerned her.

Squip put his hand on Y/n's shoulder, and pulled out a knife. He must've grabbed it from the kitchen.. Was all Y/n could think. In a moment of desperation, Y/n put her hand on Squip's hand, and pulled him close. Not into a hug, but into a kiss. He was much taller than her, so she stood on her tippy toes.

Once she let go of the kiss, she looked at him. He was crying, and he had dropped the knife. He fell to his knees and held onto Y/n, in a hug. He was begging for forgiveness and bawling his eyes out.

Y/n's POV

The Squip was begging. I felt so sorry for him. I did this to him. All I said was "Squip.. it's ok.. you didn't know.. it's ok.." repeating, over, and over. This lasted for about 2 hours until he fell asleep on me. I sat against the wall, still holding the Squip, and drifted off into sleep.

-TIME SKIP THROUGH NIGHT-

I woke up in my bed, still remembering everything that happened last night. I got up, stretched, and looked at my alarm clock. 10:34 am. I was still tired, but I had to find Squip. I rushed downstairs to find Squip cooking breakfast. "Oh, hey Squip!" I said. He turned around in a second and frowned. "Oh.. uh.. hey Y/n.." He put on a clearly fake smile and turned back around to continue cooking. I walked up to him, frowning. I then hugged him from behind. I didn't like it when Squip was sad. It made me sad.

Squip's POV

What do I do.. I'm sweating so much. My face is heated and I'm just staring at the breakfast. "Squip please don't be sad. You're the best and whenever you're sad, I'm sad!" Y/n said. Cute.. "Y/n.. really.. I am so sorry.." I replied. I was extremely sorry, and I know nothing can ever fix it. She let go, and I grabbed a plate from the cabinet.

I placed the plate on the dining room table, and put a big stack of pancakes on Y/n's plate. I know it's not healthy, but I owe it to her. "Thank you, Squip! This is awesome!" ..She smiled so wide..

"So.. what should we do today?"
