My Reality

Y/n's POV

After I got dressed into the clothing Squip gave me, I brushed my hair, and put my black converse on. "You should eat something, Y/n." Squip said. "Like what?" I replied. Squip responded with a bright smile. So cute.. "How about a croissant? Also, remember Y/n." Squip pointed to his head. I knew I was now blushing because my face was heating up. "I-I.. uh.. w-wai-" I felt a jolt run up my spine. "Ow!.. what..was that?..." "Spinal stimulation. It's for posture, but I will use it to also fix your stuttering problem." I've never been so insulted. Haha just kidding. "But.. I don't think stuttering is so bad.." Squip replied with his index finger and thumb placed on the bridge of his nose. "You may think that, but other people won't like it. It's immature and unattractive." >:O??? "UNATTRACTIVE??" I was yelling now. "How dare you! I think I'm perfectly fine how I am!" The Squip just stared at me. After about 10 seconds, he finally spoke. "Y/n, you know that's not true. I'm in your mind remember? I know when you're lying, so there's no point in fabricating the truth." He was right. "I just.." I don't think Squip knew that what he said hurt. I guess I deserved it for being such a bitch earlier.

Squip's POV

Y/n was clearly very tired, and hungry, so I walked over to the kitchen, and made some toast. I couldn't make anything healthy because it was now 6:42, and Y/n needed to leave for school at 7:15. "Y/n lets focus on something else for a while before you leave for school. How about I tell you what the upgrade was about?" I said as I grabbed a plate from the cabinet. She looked to me with an interested look. "Actually.. yeah. I've been thinking about that all morning." I walked to her and handed her the toast. "Well, It was an upgrade on human emotions. I am a new version, so I already had emotions. Basically the emotions are stronger now." Y/n giggled for some odd reason and I asked what it was about. "Well.. just.. if I hear you say emotions one more time, I'm gonna have to consume Prilosec." What did that even mean? Y/n ate her toast, and went to school.

-TIME SQUIP-

Y/n's POV

I was at my desk when a boy came up to me. I didn't recognize him at all. Probably because I skip so much. "Hi, are you new here?" He said. "No.. I just don't come to school often.." I gave a nervous smile. "oh.. well my names Kyle!" He said. He held out his hand implying me to shake it, so I did. "N-nice to meet you Kyle.." Dammit. I stuttered. I started praying to god that Squip didn't shock me. "Y/n don't worry, I won't shock you.. but only this once." Thank you! I thought. I replied to Kyle. "My name is Y/n."

Kyle was actually pretty cute. He had bright blue eyes, kind of like the Squip. He had dark brown curly hair, and his face was shimmered with freckles. ADORABLE. "I'll see you after class!" He said. He gave a genuine, sweet smile. I gave him a happy smile back. "See ya!" We waved to each other as he walked to his desk. "Y/n I don't trust him." I heard in my head. How could Squip not trust such a cute character? "Because I just have a strange feeling. If you are to hang out with him, keep an eye out." I know Squip was suppose to help me, and he was probably right, but I ignored him and thought about Kyle throughout the lesson.

After the lesson, I was about to walk out of the classroom door, when a hand touched my shoulder. I looked around. "Hey Y/n! I was wondering if you wanted to hang out after school?" It was Kyle. KYLE WANTED TO HANG OUT?? I quickly turned my whole body in his direction. "Of course!" I gave a happy smile and Kyle walked me to my next class. "I'll meet you by the fountain in front of the school!" He said. "Ok!" I replied. We waved goodbye, and my smile faded as I walked to my desk. "How can you not love his smile?" "Because It's too friendly. I don't know. Just be careful." I was starting to consider what Squip was saying. I did only just meet Kyle, and he already wanted to hang out. "ok."
