Y/n's POV

Once I got home, I went straight to my room and got dressed into a tank-top and pajama shorts. I was upset with Squip, so I didn't want him to talk to me. But no matter how many times I told him I didn't want to talk to him, he seemed to get more and more pushy. "Please Y/n, just listen to me!" He cried. "I don't want to talk to you right now! Why can't you understand that? I don't like deactivating you, so.. please.." I said, slight pleading in my voice. "I'm.. sorry, Y/n.. I'll go downstairs and.. make lunch." Squip said. As he walked through the door, he glitched into human form.

After Squip closed the door behind him, I picked up my phone to see if I had any new notifications, but when I touched it, I felt a small shock in my body. I rolled my eyes and stuck it on the charger.

I opened my bedroom door and walked down the stairs, still upset. I believed Squip, but I don't want him thinking he can just do that. Just in case. "Hey, Squippy! Look.. I know I can be stubborn, but I forgive you! I know you didn't mean to hurt me.." I said as I walked over to Squip. He looked at me and starting glitching like he did earlier. Suddenly a sharp jolt ran through my body. "OW!" I yelled. "Go sit at the table." Squip said, sternly. As I sat down at the table with a look of hurt in my eyes, I asked Squip what's gotten into him. "Y/n, I simply am trying to improve your life. Hey- Posture." He said as a small jolt stung my spine. "Ow.. You never shock me like this.. what's going on?.. Is it the cookie I ate at Michael's?" I asked. He looked down and stopped glitching. "I.. don't know.. but it might have better benefits to your life, so I'm trying it out. It's better then what I'm doing now.. I'm not even being a productive Squip.." Squip said. I quickly spoke up. "No!" His head shot up with a surprised look. "I don't want a Squip who can "make my life better" or whatever! I want my Squip.. I don't need you to sell me on reasons to want you.." I said, walking over to Squip. "I don't need you to search for the proof that I should.." He looked at me with slight sorrow, and stepped closer to me. "You don't have to convince me.. or be scared that you're not enough.. 'cause what we've got going.. is good." I couldn't help it, but I just had to hug him. I loved Squip, and when he puts himself down like this.. it shatters my heart.. "Squip.. I love you." I said, burying my face into his chest. I felt wet tickles run down my face.. I was crying.. "I can't stand it when you think of yourself like that.." ..He stayed quiet.. "I love you, and only you." I said. Squip hugged me back and I could hear sniffles coming from him. I looked up at him. "I don't need more reminders of what's been broken.. and I don't need you to fix what I'd rather forget.." I said softly to him. I then put my hand to his face and cupped his cheek, wiping tears away with my thumb. "Clear the slate and start over.. try to quiet those noises in your head.." I gave him a smile and he closed his eyes. "We can't compete with all that.." I said, chuckling softly. He finally spoke, opening his eyes. "I never thought there'd be someone like you who would want me.." He said. I responded quickly. "Well.." "So I'll give you ten thousand reasons to not let me go.." He said. "You.. really love me for me.. you have no idea how long I've wanted that.."

I looked at him in the eyes, and took both of his hands, holding them with care. "I'm with you.. It's only us.." "Just you and me." He said, smiling shyly. "We can try that.. ok?" I asked him. "Ok."

-MINUTES OF HUGGING LATER-

"I'll get lunch together." Squip said pulling out of a 10 minute hug. I was cold now. I sat at the table, waiting for lunch to arrive. "Y/n, could you go check your phone real quick? It says you've gotten a text from your mother." Squip asked. I replied confused. "Wait.. but you told me tha-" "Texts or calls from your parents are always important. Go check it." He said, interrupting me. I got up and went to check my phone.
