Episode 1: The New Kid (Part 2)

We all started walking home but I just followed Max. Finally when it was time for them to separate, Max said bye and I was alone. Dustin and Lucas started walking away and Will got picked up from the arcade by his mom.

Mike was a couple feet away from me when I realized that I had to find shelter.

This was always the hardest part of the day. I had no home. I originally came from the laboratory but I wasn't going to go back to hell. Not today and never again.

"Do you know where you're going?" Mike said catching me off guard while I was still thinking.

I just looked at him because I had no idea what to say.

"You know your way home right?"

"Um... Ya..." I answered trying to not let it seem that I was lost.

"Ok. Wow, I think that was the most I hear you talk today" he said with a little smile appearing on him face.

That was the first smile I've ever seen on him. Feeling liked, I smile and we both said good bye.

It was getting darker and darker by the moment. Suddenly I found a house that looked like a shack in the woods. The lights seem to be off so I walked up to it and unlock the door uses my mind.

Then all of a sudden a felt someone pin me to the wall but there were no figures in front of me. The lights turned on and I saw a girl that looked my age.

"Who are you?" the girl said.

"Nine" I said knowing that she had mind powers too.

As she let go of me, I slowly pulled up my sleeve to show her the number nine on my wrist. She looked at me and imminently I knew that she trusted me.

"How did you get here?" She said.

"I needed to find a home so I came here." I explained to her.

"Who are you?" I said trying to calm down

"11" she said. I nodded my head.

"Did you come from the laboratory?" eleven said.

As she was talking to me I got chills down my back. I started getting flash backs. Usually when I get flash back there always about bad memories.

This one was no different.

Flashback:

A man with gray hair stood at a door way in a tiled room.

"Ok I want you to focused and imagine something." I looked at him and then closed my eyes to image something.

As soon as I opened my eyes I saw a grey tabby standing right in front of me. It rubbed up against my hand as I started to pet it.

"Ok now something else." The man said.

I didn't want to image anything else. This feeling that came over me consisted of comfort and love that the cat brought. Its purr got loud and loud by the moment.

"Did you hear me?" he said again.

I was so caught up with the cat that I ignored him. He got up and shooed the cat away. But it was just a figure of his mind. He began to talk loud and yelling at the cat. The loud noise scared me as I made the cat turn into a dog like figure. It had yellow dots on its back and not face at all. It looked like a venous fly trap but instead with sharp teeth. It hissed at the man and he begged me to change it back. I didn't know how so he called the guards to get me.

As they came in I immediately stopped imagining whatever it was that was standing right in front of me and got up. They walked me to my room but in was more like a jail cell.

They left me in the dark and from that day one I never felt the sense of comfort and love again. Instead I felt alone and afraid to whoever came by me.

"Nine" eleven said.

I snapped out of my flash back and looked at her. My eyes started to tear up and I tried to hide the fact that I was afraid. She looked like she understood. There was silence but it was broken by the loud noise of my stomach grumbling. Eleven eyes light up as if she had an idea. She took me to the kitchen and made these things called eggos. I only knew that because I saw the yellow box. She handed me a plate of them as I ate it. I began to eat it faster and faster. By then my hunger stopped and I was beginning to trust eleven.

"Maye we can give you a nickname, mine is el and..." As she said this she had a huge smile on her face. "Michaels is Mike."

I remembered someone named mike at my school.

"My name is Nicole instead of nine." I said.

"I like it." She said with acceptance to my presences.

As I finished eating it was getting darker and darker.

This day was an adventure but not normal. I couldn't wait to back to school to see everyone else. Max, Mike, Lucas, and Dustin.....Will............
