Episode 5: Summoning Him (Part 2)

I went to max and Dustin and Lucas. They were all trying to figure it out.

"Maybe we can reopen the portal." Lucas said.

"Oh we could do that. Then eleven could go and stop it face to face." Dustin agreed.

"That won't work." Mike said coming in from the room giving me a look.

"What do you mean it won't work?" Lucas said.

"I mean eleven already closed the gate before so how are we going to open it." Mike questioned.

Just as he finished the phone ringed. My heart started to race. I had the same feeling I did when 'he' was calling.

"I'll answer it." Will said getting up.

"Hello?" Will answered.

A few seconds past when he looked at me.

"Nicole it's for you." I went up to the phone, grabbing it from Wills hand.

I was kind of shaking as well.

"Hel-llo?" I said my voice was stuttering.

"Hey this is Steve. Where are you?" Steve said. With a breath of relief I answered.

"Oh! I'm so sorry, I'm at Wills. I'm sorry I didn't mean to worry you." I said totally forgetting to tell him

"Oh my gosh. You scared me. From now on tell me where you are ok?" Steve said.

"Ok. I'm sorry."

"Promise" Steve questioned.

"Promise." I answered

"Ok how long do you think you'll be there for?"

"Um a long time."

"Well if you're staying there till night then I'm going to have to pick you up. I don't feel save with you out there at night. Also are you eating there? I mean you got to eat something." Steve said in a funny voice.

"Ok. And of course." I said with a little giggle.

"Alright then, see ya"

"Ok bye." I hung up the call.

I went back to the group. They were all staring at me.

"Steve's taking care of Nicole, isn't that cool?" Dustin said shaking his head up and down while the rest of the guys started at him. Dustin cleared his throat. "Alrighty then, soooo what's the plan." I laughed at Dustin response.

"Follow me. Maybe I can draw something to help eleven." Will said.

Leading us to his room we sat there and waited.

"So eleven can you open the gate?" Lucas said as Will started to draw.

"Um..." Eleven said trying to figure it out.

"NO! Lucas she closed the gate. It's too dangerous to open it and it's too dangerous for her." Mike said conserved of eleven.

"Mike, I understand you want Eleven save. But I think she knows what she's doing. Maybe this is the perfect plan." Lucas said defending his answer.

"A perfect plan? That's what you call it."

"You're just mad because you didn't think of it."

"oh really'

"Yeah really."

"Well..." mike started.

As Lucas and mike argued some more I could feel this feeling coming over me. I couldn't stop whatever was happening. All of a sudden the lights started to flicker.

"What the hell is happening?" Max and Mike both said.

Everybody was starting to panic. I wasn't though. That day I didn't feel like myself. I felt like someone took over me. Like all of my thought weren't mine.

"You don't think this is." Lucas looked at both mike and Dustin.

"Oh shit." Dustin said with fear in his eyes.

Every body's hearts were pounding. I could feel the fear and energy in the room. All of a sudden we all heard loud footsteps coming our way. It got louder and louder. Will looked the most scared out of all of them. Standing right at the door way was a huge giant monster. It had gray skin and it looked like it had no face.

"Oh shit." I thought to myself but I couldn't retain myself.

Everyone started to look for something to throw at it. Lucas used his wrist rocket. Will was just standing there in fear. Everyone started stepping back and they told me to get away too. But I couldn't move. I was in his trace. Eleven stepped forward and raised her hand using her powers. But the Demogorgon was not disappearing or dying. Eleven started to scream using all her might trying to get rid of it. But still nothing. When everyone was all panicking I was standing right in front of it. It hissed at me yet I did not move. I closed my eyes and focused really hard. I put my arm on my lap and stuck my hand out to make it disappear without anyone knowing. The Demogorgon let out a shriek and a hundred black dust went around it. By the time everyone blinked it was gone. I felt so weak because that was me trying to fight what was inside and more powerful than me. Eleven rushed over to me to see if I was ok. But she stop and looked at me in shock. It was obvious to see the blood dripping down my nose. Everyone else was staring all in shock too.

"Nicole, you're..."
