Chapter 8

Laura's POV

''Why did I expect your room to be like this?'' Ashton laughs, as we both sit down on my king sized bed, I raise an eyebrow and look around, my rooms are a cream colour and the wall behind my bed is wallpapered butterfly type things, I think it's pretty in my opinion.

''That's cute'' He comments, making me look at where he's looking, to see he's looking at my wall with all my pictures on, my prom pictures are on there, as are some school memories, Michelle included in them, but I took down the once with just her in, ''I like the fact that I have a few already'' He laughs, making me blush, ''Well you're my boyfriend so why wouldn't I'' I smile, leaning over and kissing his cheek.

I put my phone down on my bedside table, standing up and grabbing a pair of sport leggings and a loose shirt, not caring that he's in my room because he's my boyfriend and we have done stuff before, even thinking about that makes me blush and I change into them, before turning back to Ashton, who's looking at his phone with a frown.

''What's up?'' I ask, sitting down back on the bed, shoving my hair up in a messy bun and making him look at me, ''Luke's being really funny with us, like in our group chat with the boys'' He explains, making me frown, ''He was really down at lunch today, like he kept staring at Michelle and when she would look over, he looked away'' I explain, crawling closer to Ashton's side.

Ashton smiles slightly down at me and wrap a arm around me, letting me cuddle into his side and smile, ''But I'm down for a nap, if you wanna join me'' I mumble, pulling me cover over the both of us and yawning, I feel Ashton pull me closer, but stay on his phone and I just end up falling asleep.

''So Ashton, what do you do in college?'' My mum asks, that dinner, making me smile slightly and shove some chicken in my mouth, ''I study music, I'm in my second year'' Ashton lets her know, making me look at him a grin, ''That's exciting, my eldest son studying music'' My mum grins, making Ashton smile, ''But he ended up doing football instead'' She laughs, making me shake my head.

''Oh, what team for?'' Ashton wanders, making my mum smile ''Liverpool, Jordan Henderson'' She lets him know, Ashton's eyes widening ''No way'' He laughs, making the both of us nod, ''We never see him because he's in England all the time, but he should be home soon'' She comments, making me sigh.

''That was a lovely dinner Mrs Henderson'' Ashton says, after we finish dinner, ''No need to call me that, it's Jane'' My mum smiles, before I drag Ashton upstairs with me, ''Do you know how much Calum will freak out at this?'' Ashton asks, as I close my bedroom door, making me laugh.

''He comes home in 2 weeks, we should either bring Calum here or try and get Jordan to come Michael's on game night and surprise him?'' I ask, making Ashton nod agreeing with my plan, ''I will ask when he gets here'' I smile, checking my phone that is on charge on my bedside table, shaking me head with the amount of snap's Chloe has sent me.

I open them all, seeing she's just pulling idiot faces, the last one making me laugh the most, seeing her makeup all messed up 'I fell asleep and my sister ruined my makeup:(' I take a snap of me pouting and sending it back, with a laugh.

''Do you and Chloe ever not snap each other?'' Ashton laughs, coming up behind me and wrapping his arms around me, making me grin slightly, ''We haven't gone a day since we added each other, we even have a streak'' I laugh, making Ashton laugh and kiss the top of my head, and I check all my over snaps, seeing one from a girl I was close with at school, she stayed on with sixth form.

I smile seeing a picture of her with the angel filer and grinning, 'I miss you, need to hang soon' It said, making me smile slightly and send her one back agreeing, before I close the app and look back at Ashton.

''Was you popular at school?'' I ask after a while, making him look over at me, ''Uh no, I was the music nerd, but I wasn't bullied or anything'' He explains, making me smile and crawl into his lap, ''What about you?'' He asks, making me shrug ''Meh, I had quite a few friends, but I was popular'' I shrug, making him smile slightly.

''Michelle hardly ever let me have friends, most of my friends she took away from me, luckily I've manged to keep a few'' I explain, making him frown and pull my closer ''Wait, next time we hang out you should come'' I grin, making him smile, ''Only if you want me to'' He smiles, pecking my lips and wrapping his arms around my waist.

''Okay, I will tell you who there is, Nancy, Connie, Ella, Jake, Liam and Megan'' I tell him, making him smile and nod ''Jake and Liam are together and it's the cutest'' I grin, clapping happily, making him laugh and I lean my head on his shoulder.

I sigh once I get out the bath, my hair a mess slightly since it was washed before, wrapping a towel around myself and walking into my bedroom, pouting not seeing Ashton there and missing him, but I just grab my stitch pajamas and changing into them.

I brush my hair and put it up in a pony and turn my big light off, making sure my lamp is on and checking my window is closed and closing my blinds, before climbing into bed and checking all social media accounts and saying night to Ashton.

I put my phone on charge and shove it on my bedside table before turning my lamp on and curling up under my cover, falling into a dreamless sleep.
