Chapter 4

Laura's POV

''I shouldn't be so excited to meet Luke's girlfriend, but I am'' Ashton says, as we sit in the basement in Michael's house, I'm sat next to Ashton, cuddled into his side, as I look through my phone, ''We all our Ash, he's not had a girlfriend since...Arzaylea'' Calum mutters, shivering at the name and Ashton's grip tightens around me, but I decide not to comment on his weird thing.

''Do you know her name?'' I ask anyone, making them all look at me, ''Nope, he hasn't mentioned their name'' Calum shrugs, looking at the screen from where they're playing FIFA, ''I have a bad feeling I know who it is'' I mumble, only so Ashton can hear, he looks at me and raises an eyebrow, ''Who?'' He asks, kissing the top of my head, as I sigh ''Michelle'' I frown, making Ashton freeze and look down at me again, ''I sure hope not'' He sighs, making me smile slightly.

''What time is Chloe coming?'' I then asks, just as the door knocks, ''This could be her...or Luke'' Michael shrugs, walking up the stairs and a second later Chloe comes running down, ''I know who Luke's girlfriend is, but shh because they're upstairs!'' Is the first thing she says, flopping down on the couch and huffs, ''I really need to do sport'' She then mutters a moment later, making me laugh slightly and put my phone down.

''Uh, she's here'' Michael then comes down, Luke behind him, who has hold of a hand, making me bite my lip and me and Ashton both look at each other, as they both walk in, Calum seems to freeze when she walks in, my heart stopping at the sight of Michelle, is he serious?

''Is there a plug anywhere? so I can charge my phone?'' I ask Michael, since Ashton has gone upstairs with Calum to order food, ''Yeah, should be one just beside the couch'' He tells me, making me smile and nod, I plus it in once I find it and let my phone charge.

''Food will be a hour'' Calum says as they both walk in, Calum taking a seat beside Chloe, who is playing a game, Ashton sitting beside and wrapping his arms around me, ''We do this every Friday, if you wanna join, Chloe can't always join, but it's up to you'' He explains, as I rest my head on his chest and yawn, ''I would like that'' I smile up at him, making him smile and run his hand through my hair, making me smile at the feeling.

I look around as Ashton carries on doing that, seeing Chloe and Calum playing on the game, Michael watching and on his phone and Luke and Michelle talking with each other, but I just roll my eyes at that, but then I just continue watching them play on whatever they're playing.

''There's a party tomorrow, if use are up for going?'' Michael says out of nowhere, making me look at him and smile, ''I'm up for it, not been a party since my birthday'' Ashton laughs, making me smile up at him, I just love his laugh, ''Laura?'' Michael asks, making me smile and nod ''Sure, why not'' I grin, making Ashton smile.

''She never stays long to get drunk, she's boring to party with to be honest, so don't know why you're inviting her'' Michelle comments, making me sit up and look at her ''And how would you know that?'' I ask, ''Because every party you've been, I've been with you?'' She rolls her eyes, but just making me laugh ''You never stay with me, you always go off with another dude each time and that's just half an hour in'' I explain, seeing Luke tense up slightly, but I ignore him.

''Then you walk home pissed drunk then?'' Michelle laughs, making me roll my eyes ''Sometimes yeah, other times I get taxi's you know, with people that don't fuck off on me straight away'' I sigh, feeling Ashton grab my hand as Michelle gives me a dirty look.

''What friends Laura? You only ever had me, since I'm the only one who sticks by your little petty bitchy side'' She snarls, making me glare at her, ''No Michelle, you never let me have other friends, you always wanted me to myself, which now you don't like the fact that I have decent friends and oh a boyfriend, you don't like that, so you now hate me? why do you?'' I ask, making her look at her even harder.

''If it wasn't for me, you wouldn't have even met Ashton or Chloe'' She laughs, making me raise an eyebrow at her, ''Pretty sure I met Chloe on my own, Chloe was the one who introduced me and Ashton, not everything I do has to be with you Michelle, actually who's the one who made you have friends in school, because if I remember correctly, everyone hated you in year 7 to year 9 and now I know why they did'' I snap, tears threatening to fall, but I hold them back, I'm not going to cry because of this, that would just be stupid.

''Grow up Laura, Ashton's probably going to know how shit of a fucking person you're, you'll push him away, just like you did with Brad, remember him?'' She smirks, making me freeze and stand up ''You know full fucking well that wasn't my fault, don't you dare bring that up'' I snap, but she just smirks at me, like she's won or something, but before anything else is said, I run upstairs, not wanting to cry in front of anyone and I just run outside and sit on the bench outside.

''Laura? babe?'' I hear, making me wipe my eyes and look up sadly, seeing Ashton standing at the door, holding some tissue and a water bottle, he frowns and sits next to me, pulling me close to side and I just end up crying again.

''Why did that break you? if you don't mind me asking?'' He asks, making me wipe my eyes and look at him, ''No, I will tell you, if we're going to be together, no secrets? yeah?'' I say, making him smile slightly down at me, ''Just take your time'' I smile at him slightly.

I guess he needs to know.
