Chapter 14

Laura's POV

''Here is your name tag and locker key, good luck and just do your best'' Dani grins at me, ''You start in ten minutes, so just follow me out in 10'' She adds, making me nod and Dani then sits down and goes on her phone, as I open up my locker, groaning slightly at the dust that comes out.

But I just shove my bag in there, along with my jacket before closing it and sitting down also and going on my phone, I open up snapchat, checking all the stories, before taking one of the staff room door and captioning in it 'Probably going to be the longest day, no replies till 6' Before sending it to my streaks and my story.

''Add me on snap, so we can contact each other better, names Dani.D99'' Dani explains, making me nod and type in her username and adding her, not a minute later, her name popping up saying we are now friends, ''Ohh, Who's that guy?'' She asks, showing me the picture of me and Ashton, ''My boyfriend, Ashton'' I smile slightly, making her grin, ''Aww, use are cute together'' She says, a smile growing across my face.

''Alright, let's get your first day over with and I promise, it isn't that bad'' She smiles, making me turn off my phone and shove it in the locker and putting the name tag, ''The sheet with what you do is on that wall, it changes every week, so just check for your name'' She smiles and takes me over, I look for my name and bite my lip when I see I'm on the check outs with someone called Max?

''Have fun and if you need me, just shout me over'' Dani smiles, holding the door out for me and she goes up the stairs, where I'm guessing she is placed and I just make my way over to the till, smiling slightly at the guy standing behind one, ''You must be Laura, my name is Max, it's nice to meet you'' He shakes my hand, making me smile ''It's nice to meet you as well'' I say, before logging on the check out, like Dani showed me the other day and starting the days work.

''Thank you for shopping at Lush, please come again soon'' I say to the last customer, watching as the guy smiles at me and rushes out the shop, I yawn slightly and log out the check out and shut it down, before grabbing my water bottle and walking into the staff room, where everyone is, including Dani.

''How'd it go?'' She smiles, as I open up the locker, grabbing my jacket and putting it on, ''It went okay'' I smile, taking off my name badge and placing it in my bag, as I grab my bag and phone and shutting my locker, putting the key in my bag as well.

''You'll be opening tomorrow correct?'' She asks, making me nod ''Yeah, start at 8'' I smile at her ''You'll be with me'' Tim says ''And me'' A girl called Ellie says, making me smile at them and turn my phone off, ''I'll see use tomorrow'' I comment, waving at them all before walking out and closing the shop door behind me.

''How'd it go?'' I hear from behind me, making me jump and turn around, sighing in relief seeing it's just Ashton, making me smile ''It went alright, I think'' I laugh slightly, grabbing his hand once we start walking ''You still good for staying mine? like we've planned?'' He asks, making me smile and nod at him ''Yeah, I'm still good for sleeping yours'' I lean up and peck his lips.

''I've just gotta nip in  the shop, so I can get some things for my mum, she wants to cook dinner for you, to celebrate your first day'' He explains, making me smile, ''She didn't have to, wow, I love your mum'' I grin, as we walk into the supermarket and he grabs a basket, ''She said you deserve it and she makes really good food'' He comments, making me smile and follow him along as he grabs some stuff.

''I'm so full, oh my god'' I laugh, falling down on his bed, wearing his hoodie and some pajama shorts, he looks at me and laughs ''I'm glad you enjoyed it, I told you she makes good food'' He laughs, crawling in next to me ''I need to shower'' I laugh, checking the time on my phone, seeing it's half 7, ''Want me to join you?'' He winks, making me giggle, ''If you really wanna'' I stick my tongue out at him and he grins at me, before pulling me up and into the bathroom.

''Hurry, I'm cold and I wanna sleep'' I complain, watching as he turns off the TV and big light, before crawling into the bed next to me and letting me cuddle into him, him wrapping his arms around me, as my phone goes off with a snap from Dani, which makes me raise an eyebrow, but I open it anyways.

'Good job I'm not in work tomorrow' Next to it is a winking emoji, ''Michael has moved on fast'' I comment, showing Ashton the snap, of Dani laying on Michael's chest and Michael looking a little crazy, who has a smirk on his face, I hear Ashton sigh ''I don't know what's going to happen, there still is a chance of Michael and Chloe getting back together'' He explains, making me bite my lip ''I really hope so'' I sigh.

But I take a snap off the bed covers, you can see the outline of our legs and caption 'Bed's my favorite place, reply in the morning' Sending it to my streaks and story, before closing the app and placing my phone on charge and cuddling back into Ashton.

''I've never been so happy to be in bed'' I laugh, resting my head against his chest, as he runs his hand through my hair and closing my eyes at the feeling ''I know babe, if you wanna leave Michael's tomorrow, just lemme know, we can easily just stay in bed all evening after you finish work'' He says, making me smile, ''Sounds amazing'' I yawn and grin when he pulls me closer.

And I fall asleep with a smile on my face.

My hands dead from writing so many chapters today haha, I hope you enjoy them though.
