Chapter 24

Laura's POV

''I can't believe they're one soon'' Ashton pouts, watching as Ethan and Kirstie sit on the carpet, playing with there blocks, making me smile slightly and look over at him ''I know, that also means I'm 18 soon'' I pout, making him laugh slightly and cuddle up to me, making me smile ''I can't believe you're 20'' I laugh, making him look up at me and smile, ''I don't feel it'' He laughs, making me kiss the top of my head.

''I can't believe we have our own place as well, who knew before I'm even 18, I would have twins, living in a house and have a boyfriend'' I laugh, making him smile at me, leaning up and pecking my lips ''No regrets though'' He mutters, making me smile and peck his lips, ''Everyone is coming around later on'' I remind him, making him groan and sit up.

''I forgot about that, is Michelle coming with her new boyfriend?'' He asks, picking Kirstie up from where she crawled over to him, ''I think so, I'm looking forward to meeting him and having Michael and Luke here, as a couple, they're adorable together'' I grin, making Ashton smile, before he nods agreeing with me, ''I agree, plus Ethan adores Michael, think he has a crush'' I add, laughing before walking up to Ethan and picking him up, making him giggle.

''Ma!'' He screams, making my eyes widen slightly at the loudness of his voice ''Indoor voice, please'' I beg, before sitting on the chair that's in front of the window, letting Ethan look out the window at the cars and people who go past.

''I still need to learn how to drive'' I say, seeing Ashton's new Audi parked in the drive way, ''Book a lesson? we have the money'' He tells me, making me look at him and bite my lip ''I know, I just never get around to it and I'm too nervous to do it'' I pout, making him laugh ''You'll do great at it, plus I'm alright with driving you around'' He shrugs, making me roll my eyes at him.

''Ash, you're going into a full time job, you can't drive me around everywhere'' I explain, making him pout, ''I can't believe I've finished college to be honest'' He grins, making me smile at him ''I'm proud of you Ash'' I stand back up, placing Ethan next to Kirstie, before sitting on Ashton's lap, making him wrap his arms around me.

''Going to work at a studio full time, look at you go'' I giggle, leaning down and pecking his lips ''I know right, guess it was a good idea doing my placement there'' He smiles up at me.

Ashton got offered a job straight after he finished college, which was last month, he went to the interview and got it, but had to prove he passed, which he went and showed prove yesterday, ''When do you start?'' I ask, as he rests his head on my side ''I have a two day induction next week and then they give me starting dates'' He explains, making me nod.

''They also said I can have your and the twins birthday off already and I'm off every weekend'' He explains, making me grin up down at him, ''Weekends won't be changing then'' I laugh, making him smile.

''You're getting old'' Calum says to Ashton, as we sit at the sun beds in our back garden, I raise an eyebrow at him as Ashton glares ''Fuck you'' He mutters, making me giggle as Calum grins innocently to Ashton, who gives him the middle finger ''Personality like a child though'' Calum adds, making me laugh and check my phone, as Michelle sits next to me.

''Jack's getting on really well with your children'' She says, nodding over to the play area we have for them, making me look over, seeing Kirstie, Ethan and Jack all on the floor playing, making me laugh ''New best friend for them'' I smile, sipping at my drink, making Michelle smile.

''I bumped into Chloe this morning'' She then says, making me raise an eyebrow at her and frown ''Did she see you?'' I ask, making Michelle nod ''She isn't happy, she found out you knew everything and has threatened to come over one day'' She explains, making me frown and look at Ashton who's just wrapped an arm around my shoulder, but still talking to Calum.

''I just hope it isn't today Michelle, it's the first time in ages that we've had the group back together and with Michael and Luke being together'' I explain, making her smile at me sadly, ''Does she know where you live?'' She asks, making me shake my head and then freeze, ''I'm a fucking idiot'' I groan, getting my phone and putting on snapchat, seeing my bitmoji and turning it on ghost mode, ''Hopefully she hasn't been on my snapchat map thingy'' I say, locking my phone and putting it away.

''I'll get it'' I mutter, when the door knocks, standing up and walking through the house to the front door, taking a deep breath opening the door, seeing Michael and Luke standing there, both faces pale and just looking worried, making me raise an eyebrow.

''Is Ashton there?'' Michael asks, making me look at them confused ''Yeah, he round the back talking with Calum?'' I say, ''Can you get him, he needs to see this'' He mutters, making me nod, before going back '''Ash your wanted, Jack mind the kids a second'' I smile at the brown haired dude, watching him nod, before walking back the front door, with Ashton behind me.

''Why use stood out their? you're allowed in?'' Ashton comments, making me nod agreeing, ''Just follow me'' Luke mutters, before we look at each other confused and walk out the door, both of us stopping in our tracks when we see his car.

Windows smashed, tires popped and just wreaked, but writing on the back window saying 'Watch out!' Making me gulp, ''This can't be fucking serious'' Ashton mutters, walking over to the brand new car, well I guess it's not fixable anymore, ''Excuse me, Miss?'' I hear the woman from next door, an oldish woman who is very sweet and loves her garden very much, ''Some girl, blonde hair, really blue eyes has just done that to your car, but I saw her go towards your back'' She explains, before I hear a scream, making my eyes widen and run to the back.

''Chloe!'' I yell, seeing she has hold of Ethan, who is know pouring with blood and has a knife sticking out of his chest, I see Michelle on the phone, hopefully to the police and ambulance, ''Let go off him!'' I snap, my eyes going all blurry, making her smirk, as Ashton comes up next to me.

''You stole my fucking man Laura! so I'm going to kill your babies!'' She laughs evilly, making me fun forward and grabbing her by the neck ''Get the fuck away from the kids, they've done fuck all wrong!'' I snap, shoving her against the wall of the house, making her eyes go wide in terror.

''Laura! calm down!'' I hear Calum say, before I feel him grab my hand and he shoves Chloe somewhere and locks the door, making me standing frozen, making Calum shake me and just shake me, ''Cal! I know you're there! stop shaking me!'' I snap, but he doesn't seem to want to listen to me!.

That's when I watch my baby die in front of me.
