Zaryn's P.O.V.
I sit at my desk in my office running my hand through my hair as I finish a call with the Alpha of a neighboring pack.
"No, we don't have any reports of any pups missing from the past twenty years. But I remember when the Blue Moon Pack had reported a missing omega pup many years back. Just one. No reports of any missing twins. At least not that I've heard of. I would talk to the Blue Moon Pack. But thank you for taking our pack into consideration Alpha Zaryn."
"Alright. Thank you for your time, Alpha Andrew."
I hang up and dial the number for the Blue Moon Pack. All-day I had been trying to find the families of Church, Noah, and Eden. So far no one has any reports of a missing Omega pup or pups in the past twenty years. The Alpha picks up on the third ring.
"Alpha Fred speaking."
"Hello, Alpha Fred. This is Alpha Zaryn. I'm calling about if you happened to have anyone in your pack who had an omega pup that went missing roughly sixteen years ago. We have found an omega with red hair and green eyes. If there is anyone possibly with red hair... just anyone who had a male omega pup."
"Yes, there's one family. They reported a missing three-month-old male omega pup. They hadn't named him because of a war we were in at the time. The father, his name is... Tucker, he was fighting in the war when his mate Cora gave birth. She went into a coma after she lost lots of blood from an emergency C-section. Their four-year-old son at the time, Val, was not allowed to see the baby or Cora. By the time the war was over Cora was still in a coma and the baby was reported kidnapped. Another pack member had seen the kidnappers and tried to stop them but had gotten severely injured. It was raining and their scents were washed away. We were never able to track down the baby. The family was devastated. They never had any more children because of the fear of losing another pup. We all remember what happened. They have never been the same. Why don't you send the omega over to our pack? The family has remembered the pup's scent through blankets he was wrapped in. The people caring for the pup made sure that the pup was surrounded by his family's scents so he would remember their scent. It was enough so that the pup would recognize his family. Send him over and we will see what happens."
"Thank you, Alpha Fred. I will send the omega over with my head warrior. Thank you for your time." I say.
"No, thank you, Alpha Zaryn. Come over tomorrow. Or whenever. We will be expecting your arrival."
I hang up and smile. I was finally making progress. I use my mind link to contact Wade.
Wade.Yes, Alpha? Wade replies.
I need you to take Church to the Blue Moon Pack. I think I have found his family. You have to take him. It's an order. The Alpha just sent me info. He says that you can stay for a week. But don't worry, they can't keep Church there. They can't separate you two. Pack him and get him mentally and physically prepared for this. His natural instinct towards his family is to feel safe and trust him. He will go to them. Be ready. I will have a car ready for you tomorrow morning after breakfast. You will arrive at around noon.
Yes, Alpha. Wade's voice is tight and I can tell he does not like the idea of bringing his mate somewhere he isn't familiar with when he is still recovering and getting used to being around people who won't hurt him.
This needs to be done though. We had all of the omega bodies identified and found their families and sent the omegas' ashes to them. The families were great full for the return of their children but in all, it is a sad time for them. They finally locate their lost children only to find out they are dead.
