The child woke up crying a groan annoyed with the sunlight yelling through his window telling him to get up. He rubbed his eyes and sat up minding Uncle Blue's arm that was wrapped around him. He had forgotten he asked his uncle to sleep with him after a nightmare he had also forgotten about. Gladly.

"Uncle Blue, you need to get up, daddy will get mad at you again if you don't." Error said lazily shaking Blue. Blue just rolled over and tucked himself under the blanket. Error rolled his eyes tiredly knowing if he kept trying he'd get nowhere. He drug himself out of bed and quickly closed the window blinds. He was only six(?), but he knew how to dress himself, sorta.
Though there were some...

"Are you trying to dress yourself again?"

...people who didn't approve of that. Error nodded to tired to care that Ink wouldn't allow him to dress himself. "I don't think so, you wore a dark pink shirt with light pink pants yesterday." Ink started. Ink was like Error's mother, might add overprotective. He was slowly getting over his best friends death and was getting through the grieving better than expected. Blue and Cross we're there to help him through it since they knew Error the best. Ink and Error rummaged through his dresser looking for matching clothes until Error pulled out a popping baby blue dress with white poka dots, it had a big baby blue bow. "Um..." Ink was unsure. Wasn't Error a boy? Did gender really matter in this situation? "Okay, you can wear it, but you sure you want to wear that to your first day of daycare?" Ink assured(Note: he's going to PJ's daycare. He will live an almost normal life and because I want to add some of my high school life into his, he will be picked on by a bully, I had that last year but we're friends now.). "Yes, I will look like a pretty princess!" Error said placing him hands on his hips dramatically as if to be sassy. Ink chuckled lightly and sighed. "Okay, let me help you though." Thus, began the dressing struggle.

Downstairs was a shy Nightmare cuddled close to his younger brother. Dream had gotten used to the cuddling and hugged his brother reassuringly. Nightmare had refused to talk to anyone thinking he'd probably say the wrong thing. Cross nudged him in the arm gently making him jump. "You want to go out with me to get groceries later, Blueberry said he needs taco ingredients," Cross said. "Yeah Nightmare, you can finally get out of the house. Oh, you can go with Ink when he takes Error to daycare." Dream expressed his opinion widely. Nightmare shook his head at Cross wildly. "Don't worry, I will stay between you and Ink." Cross assured. Nightmare sighed, Cross had been trying to "bond", as he called it, with Nightmare for a couple weeks. He nodded his head lightly with a small smile.

"Nightmare! Nightmare! Look at my pretty dress!" Error's words rang though the house attracting everyone's attention. "I"m a pretty princess!" he chirped happily. Error jumped in front of Nightmare in his new dress, Ink had added a baby blue bow (a hair bow he glued it to a headband.). Nightmare smiled widely. Error had got Nightmare to talk to him, that's when Cross started trying the "bond" with Nightmare. "It looks, uh, pretty." Nightmare whispered. Error shrieked happily and hugged Nightmare happily. "Thank you, now come on, you can take me to daycare. I can't wait to meet everyone." Error said pulling Nightmare towards the door. "Okay, calm down." Nightmare chuckled lightly. Cross stood between him and Ink so nothing bad would happen, like a cry fest from Nightmare.

"Make sure you get Error a snack when you pick him up." Blueberry said placing a plate of pancakes on the table. "Why tell us know?" Cross asked curiously. "I won't be able to pick him up but when I do we go out get a snack," Blueberry explained. Ink smiled in a way of saying "yes".

They came to the daycare that was highly intimidating to Error and his high levels of happiness had went down to high levels of shyness. They stepped into the daycare and Error was not ready to have the most unexpected day of his life.
