___________

The end of daycare had arrived and Ink, remembering what Blueberry said, went and got Error a snack. "Did you make any friends?" Ink asked. "Yes." Error said faking a smile. He knew better than to tell his mother about bullies. "PJ told me you and Undertale Sans we're getting along great." Ink brought up, Error smiled loving that his mother unknowingly took his mind off Ruru. "Yeah, Classic is super cool, and his gaster blasters is super playful." Error said. Ink wasn't worried about others gaster blasters playing with Error. He'd seen it many times before with Uncle Blue and Uncle Carrot, and every once in a while Uncle Cross.

"Hey, when we get home, can we talk to Horror?" Ink cringed squeezing his ice cream cone causing it to crack. "But we talked to him last week hon, I don't think he's in the mood for visitors." Ink retailed. Horror was a friend of Errors but trying to protect him and his counterpart, he died. They had taken his residue and contained it in a jar. They locked it in a room made completely for him. They never visited... excluding Error. "Please?" Error begged. "Fine, but why?" Ink questioned. "I made a picture for him, and took a picture of me with his younger self." Error said whipping his face. "I miss him..." Error said sniffing.

The tentacle hit Horror instead.

Nightmare stared at his once loyal companion as his blood dripped from his mouth leaving his tongue with the taste of metal. Nightmare jerked his tentacle out of Horror reluctantly. Horror fell to his knees with a terrified face. "Horror!" Error quickly scramble over to Horror who a small dust pile.

Error had the memory replay in his head over and over again. It caused him nightmares that involved his dreaded adventure again and again. "I want to make sure he's happy." Error said innocently. "Mommy, do you hate Horror?" he asked. Ink was caught off guard at the question. "Oh, uh, honey no I don't hate Horror. He's just a long time ago enemy of mine." Ink stated.

-time skip-

They were face to face with Horrors door. Ink unlocked the door as he had several times before. Error rushed over to Horrors container and smiled. "Hi, it's been awhile since I visited. Sorry about that. However, I survived my first day of Daycare. Your younger self was so nice and he helped me with building and played tag with me. I took a picture with him. Inks younger self helped my make a picture of you and me." Error took out the picture and drawing. "I hope you like them, I'll see you soon, I have to go or daddy will go looking for me. You know how protective he is." Error hugged the container and he tried hard not to cry. "Bye, Uncle Horror." Error left with a smile on his face. Horror wouldn't want his sweet little nephew sad. Error always reminded himself of that.

He came out to Ink smiling down at him. Error returned the smile. "Come on, let's go to dinner." Ink picked Error up and took him to the kitchen where Blueberry and Papyrus we're putting spaghetti tacos on the table. Error loved the combo his daddy and Uncle Papy made. Ink sat Error down beside him and gave him a plate of mini spaghetti tacos. Error had never gotten down to where they found taco shells this small.

Error only ain't half his food before feeling slightly tired. He yawned rubbing his eyes. "Are you tired?" Blueberry asked. Error forced his sockets to open wide and shook his head with a tired smile. "Come on, time for bed." Blue said caring him up to bed. Blue always took Error to bed. Not once had he not. "What story do you want this time?" Blue asked. Blue and Error had a thing.

Error picked the book and Blue helped him read the book. "Continue with 'The three little ducks' I've almost got it down." Error said proudly but tiredly. "You awake enough for reading kid?" Blue asked. Error yawned laying his head up against Blue half asleep. "Im gonna take that as a no. Welp bud, bedtime." Blue, as usual, stayed with the kid till he was completely asleep which usually took a while but this night wouldn't take him forever.

-downstairs-

"So how was Errors first day at daycare?" Blueberry asked cleaning dishes. "He said he made some friends, but I don't think he told me everything." Ink explained. "Even as a child, he still keeps things to himself. We both know he's always been like that." Blueberry stated. "How's Fresh doing since the incident?" Blueberry asked changing the subject. "He hasn't come back from his AU, he refuses to give Nightmare another chance after he killed Erry." Ink said trying to ignore the pain inflicted on his body. "Ya know..."

"That's gonna most likely kill him, Error can't leave this AU. His soul has gone frail since the incident so he can't see his brother." Blueberry said glaring at Ink. "It was only a suggestion." Ink mumbled.

Since then, things had fallen apart. They tried hard to not speak of any of to or around Error. Knowing him well, they know he'd understand completely.

"Let's just try and keep things together while we can." Blueberry said drying a dish. "Error will be okay, come on, we all deserve a good nights rest. We've all had a stressful day and you rarely had any sleep." Blueberry said smiling tiredly. "Okay, good night." Ink said smiling lazily. "Goodnight Ink," Blueberry said cleaning up before he went to sleep.

-nightmare-

I kept running. It's all I could do. His tentacles would get me if I stop. Horror picked me up as he had a dozen time before. I forgot the reason I even tried running if we all met the same fate again and again.

I just wanted it to stop.

The tentacles entangled us and he readied himself before-

-end of a nightmare-

I shot up sweating and crying. I whipped my eyes tiredly. "I'm okay, I'm okay."
