Things turned bad quickly. Seulgi wasn't able to perform for the next couple of months, and it made both she and Jimin depressed. Jimin was mostly depressed about it not because she couldn't dance for the next couple of months, even though he was sad for her, but because the girl he loved was both emotionally and physically hurt.

He didn't do his best when BTS performed, and he was almost always sad or just not in a good mood. Namjoon would get mad and frustrated because of that, and so would Yoongi, mainly. And because of all of it, they would all get into fights and not really talk to each other until they had to at practices.

After the awards show the other evening, Yeri avoided Jungkook for the most part, and he kept texting her and asking her to talk so he could figure out why exactly she was.

That evening, a couple of nights later, he called her, and she finally picked up.

"Yes, Jungkook?"

"Yeri-ah, it's so good to hear your voice again. Can we please talk?"

She sighed quietly. "Sure."

"Where do you want to meet?"

"I'll meet you at the gardens. I'll tell you everything there."

Jungkook stood in the garden, gazing at the pretty flowers while he waited for his girlfriend. Even if he tried to distract himself and despite the fact that he was still nervous around Yeri, he couldn't help but be scared. Did he do something terribly wrong that he wasn't aware of?

No, he couldn't have.

He wasn't dumb.

He would've known if he did, for sure.

Yeri caught him off guard once she arrived, scaring him by standing beside him for a while without him noticing. She looked down at the same flowers he was looking at.

"Yah, Yeri! I didn't see you there!" Jungkook told her, jumping back. "You scared me."

She looked up at him with a stern face. She still looked cute when she was mad, he couldn't help it. He just wanted to squeeze her cheeks and kiss her.

"Jungkook. I'm glad you wanted to talk. Because we need to."

"What did I do?" he queried.

"Yah. Jungkook. Calm down. It's alright. I just heard that you..... you thought that I liked Kai instead of you and that I wanted to cheat on you."

Jungkook's eyes widened and he raised his eyebrows high. "Yerim, no! I didn't think you wanted to cheat on me. I trust you. I just thought that you would fall for him because he was flirting with you and he's better than I am. And more attractive," he said sadly with a pout across his face, looking down at the ground and his feet.

Yeri put on a sympathetic expression. "No, JK! You're better than he is. Sure, he's attractive, but I don't feel anything for Jong In."

Jungkook lifted his head, meeting eyes with Yeri. "And what about the attractive part? Am I more than he is?"

Yeri laughed. "Yes, you are. You're the most attractive guy I've ever seen. Seriously. And you can trust me on that."

Jungkook smiled. "Well, good. I'm glad."

They smiled at each other, and slowly Jungkook took her face in his hands and lowered his lips to hers, until they were so close they were sharing the same breath but their lips still not touching. Yeri smiled, wrapping her hand around Jungkook's forearm.

"I....," Jungkook started, not quite able to get the words out yet. "Yerim....."

Suddenly Taehyung and Irene entered the gardens, Irene laughing at something he had told her previously, and Taehyung laughed along with her. He pulled her closer to him and kissed her softly, Irene's hands behind his head.

Jungkook and Yeri pulled away from each other, looking back from them and to each other again, their eyes full of surprise.

"If only the companies saw them kissing right now....," Yeri stated, still watching them.

"Let's get out of here," Jungkook told her, "before they see us. Before anyone sees us." He grabbed her hand and led her away from the gardens and once they got to her ride waiting for her outside, he opened the door for her and urged her to get in the back.

But she stayed put where she was, standing firmly there.

"I'm not leaving you," she protested. "Why can't I just come with you? Back to your place?"

"Yeri....."

"Please? We have nothing we have to do tonight. And who cares if anyone finds out or sees? You're the one who said it's not their business."

Jungkook made a face, knowing she was right. After much hesitation, he uttered the words, "Alright, fine."

So they went back to Bangtan's hotel, and lucky for them, there was no one there it seemed. Jungkook pointed over to the couch for Yeri to sit, and he walked over to sit with her, not even bothering to turn the lights on. It was cloudy outside, and dark in the room, but he didn't care. As long as he got to be with Yeri.

"Would you like to watch something? A show, or....."

"It's alright. I'm happy just being here with you," she said.

Jungkook smiled, and leaned in once more to kiss her. Their lips met, and he never thought kissing would be this good.

All of the sudden, Jin walked out, towel around his waist from just being in the shower. "Yah, yah! What are you doing?" he yelled. "Get off of each other!"

They pulled away from each other, looking over at Jin and as shocked about him as Jin was about them.

"Hyung, what are you doing here?" Jungkook asked defensively. "I thought everyone was gone!"

"Oh, so this was going to lead to matters much worse if I hadn't stopped you?" Jin said. "Tsk, tsk."

"No! We were just..... I just kissed her. And that was all. I promise."

"Mm, yes. Okay. And why should I believe you?"

"Because I'm not Yoongi. I don't lie to you about stuff."

"Like when?"

Jungkook laughed. "Like when he went out to the bar and drowned himself in soju and came back, and when you asked him where he was he said he was with Namjoon at the store but Namjoon was lying in bed at the time!"

Jin sighed. "Oh my, well you have a point. Now just don't surprise me like that again."

"I won't," Jungkook fumed angrily, trying not to blow up on Jin. He stared at him, waiting for him to leave.

Then he left, and Jungkook laid his head back on the couch, groaning. When would he ever get his chance to be alone with her and not have a relationship with everyone else and her together? No one else was a part of their relationship, and he thought he had made that clear.
