Gazing at the T.V for so long her eyes glazed over and started seeing nothing- Diana watched in a daze as the scores for the districts and Capitol tributes started playing.

She had been right earlier, everyone bugging her over what she did in that room. But she just insisted she'd explain later, ignoring everyone after that as she curled up in the balling and started waiting.

Barely listening to the others as they started discussing, Diana watched as the scores were displayed in the becomingly average order- first the tribute from District One, Damon.

He recieved a ten, the next Capitol child getting a seven.

Tatianna got a nine, the next Capitol kid got a four.

Yohan got a six, the next tribute receiving a five.

Sebastian got a nine, and then the next got a six.

The next number she could remember was Terra getting eight. And the average of the other district alliance seven or eight, but Diana didn't pay much attention to that- sitting on the edge of her seat as her score came closer.

Trace was, as always it seemed, right before her- and recieved a ten. Somehow he'd tied with Damon for highest score- and Diana was so shocked she almost missed her own score.

One.

Silence filled the room as Diana's face and the one beside it faded from the screen.

"One." Diana repeated to herself as someone turned the T.V off, still staring at the blank screen as her voice snapped everyone in the room out of their daze.

"I got a one." She said, a million things spinning through her mind as she considered that fact.

Why had she received a one? Surely her knife throwing and archery skills were enough for at least a six, probably more. Actually thinking about it she decided what she did deserved a score of around eight or even nine.

So why had she gotten a one? The lowest score in history of The Hunger Games.

"What did you do?" Haymitch asked in a quiet and emotionless voice, asking the question on everyone's mind.

I didn't deserve a one, Diana decided- wondering know why she was given a one. It was sabotage, had to be. But why would the Gamemakers want to sabotage her?

Of course it had to do with her being a Mellark, and Katniss Everdeen's daughter- but why now, when things were supposed to be getting better?

With a jolt she realized she was ignoring a now more angry sounding Haymitch.

"Even a twelve would've been better than this! What the hell did you do?" He was nearly growling, obviously not caring that it was a rule that the tributes were not to speak of whatever they did for the Gamemakers.

In a split second Diana decided to lie. She didn't know why at all, but she just did.

"I deserve that score. I didn't do anything. I sat down in the middle of the foor, refusing to do anything before they told me to leave." She answered in a wistful voice, as if everything was OK.

Everyone started speaking at once- Haymitch being angry, Lunesta being confused, Skai looking full of approval and her mother being totally emotionless but at the same time loud.

"This is what made me a target Diana." She said, her voice suddenly becoming cold enough to make everyone else in the room fall silent.

"Do you want to die?" She asked, and it made Diana's heart break.

"Are you seriously talking to me like this?" Diana retorted, standing up abruptly. "I"m about to possibly die, and you're growling at me!" Diana was screaming now, her eyes filled with tears as she stared down her mother.
