New Life (Laurence x Reader ) Sequel

Emotions

   " Okay, we need to retake that. "

   " Why?"

   " The audio messed up around a minute and a half into it. "

   " Okay. Can I have some water before we go again? My throat feels really dry. "

Bobby nodded and Megan ran out of the room to get some water. I walked out of the booth and sat on the couch with Omar.

   " So did you guys see the news last night?"

   " Ya. They always say your team. We need to think of a name. "

   " Well. You can think of one and I'll tell them. Then I'll name your names specifically. "

   " Okay. "

Megan ran back into the room with four water bottles. She handed me one and I started drinking the water as soon as I opened the cap. When I took a breath and fulled the bottle away from my face I saw that Half of it was already gone.

   " Ready?" Megan asked.

   " Ya. Let's do this. "

As I stepped into the booth I could tell Omar was telling her about the plan for the team name. The music started as I started singing.

Once we were finished with the song. Megan high-fived Omar and Bobby. 

   " What's going on?"

   " We found a team name! "

   " What's the name?"

   " Team Sound. "

   " Nice name. I'll tell the audience about it tonight on the TV show. "

They all nodded as the music for the next song started.

Once it was done I stepped away from the mic. I took a deep breath in and out. I tried to keep my tears in. I heard Omar, Megan, and Bobby come into the room.

   " Y/n you need to take a breath in and out. It's okay. You are not like that anymore. "

   " Maybe we should change the song choice. " Bobby said.

   " No, we can't. It's part of my life. Plus the news people already told the audience that some of the songs were about my life. I'm not going to lie to them. They brought me this far. "

   " Ya, but can you handle it Y/n?" Omar said.

   " Yes, I can. "

They all looked at each other. Then back at me.

   " Hey, why don't we go out tonight. You know we all go to a nice restaurant and have some good old fun. " Omar said

   " Sounds good. "

   " Y/n. Did that boy Laurence make you break down your walls?" Bobby asked.

I nodded ' yes '. I felt bad. I used to be fine. Now that I've seen Laurence my whole world has been filled with emotions. Bobby hugged me. Omar and Megan joined in with him and we all had a group hug. I cried into Bobby's shirt as we hugged.

   " It's time for us to leave so Omar and I will meet you guys at Y/n's apartment. " Bobby said.

We nodded and then we left the studio. Megan drove me to the Evergreen Complex. Once we were there we ran inside. I waved to DeAnn as we ran to the elevator. Once we reached my apartment Megan ran upstairs with me in tow.

   " Let's get changed and then we'll text bobby and Omar that we're ready. "

   " Okay. "

Megan ran to my closet and started pulling stuff out.

   " What kind of restaurant are we going to?"

   " Let me ask. "

Megan took her phone out and started texting Omar. Immediately he replied.

   " He said a fancy one. "

   " Okay so fancy. "

   " Ya, I'll pick yours you pick mine. "

   " Deal. " 

We both started tearing through my closet.
