Welcome Back

   " You ready to go?"

I nodded my head ' yes '. It had been a week now and I was completely healthy. They told me to eat regularly and to not skip any meals. Dante came and picked me up from the hospital. He said Laurence was at work and wasn't able to do it.

   " I'm ready to leave this place for good. "

   "I would be too. "

We walked to his car and he started driving me home. When we got to the street I saw a few people walking around. I saw Aaron walking three animals. Two dogs and one cat. Aphmau was beside him talking. I waved to them through the window and they waved back with bright smiles. Dante pulled up to my house and I went inside. I saw a banner hanging up saying welcome back. With cake and a lot of delicious treats on the kitchen table.

It was a little dark so I turned the lights on and everyone jumped out of a hiding spot and yelled,

   " Welcome back!"

   " You guys!"

   " Does Y/n~Sama like it?"

   " I love it Kawaii~Chan. "

Music started playing through a huge speaker in a corner of the room. Through the music, I heard the door open behind me and saw Aphmau, Aaron, and Dante carrying in gifts.

   " Suprise Y/n! " Aaron said.

I felt tears in my eyes. 

   " Thank you, guys, so much. "

   " We thought we had to. To say we were sorry, and you deserve a welcome back gift. " Gene said.

I looked at the stairs and saw Bobby, Omar, and Megan all sitting there. They were smiling at me. I thanked everyone and gave them all hugs. I heard the sweet treats and cake were made by Kawaii~Chan. So I ran over there and grabbed one of the rice krispie icecreams and started eating it. As I ate it I felt a pair of arms wrap around me. I looked behind me to see his light blue eyes and light brown hair. 

   " Hey, Laurence. "

   " Hey, N/n. can I talk to you for a minute?"

   " Sure. "

I had finished my treat and grabbed a cupcake. As I followed Laurence I ate the cake. It was delicious. I set the wrapper on the table and we walked outside. In my backyard, there was a garden. A little pond was in the middle and trees and bushes surrounding it. Benches were in front of the pond. Lights hung in the trees to illuminate the garden. Flowers were everywhere. Different kinds and there was a singular Lilly pad in the pond. It floated in the middle of the pond. Laurence sat down on one of the benches and looked at me. He patted the seat next to him signaling me to sit down. I did as he said and sat down.

   " So what do you need to talk to me about?"

   " Y/n I love you I really do. Since high school I have. I can't tell you how scared I was when the ambulance came. I didn't know what to do. "

   " Laurence it's okay. I'm fine now. "

   " I know, but I just wish I could have done something more. "

   " Laurence you did what you could. I'm thankful for that. I really am. So please don't beat yourself up over this. "

He looked at me and nodded. A small smile was plastered on his face.

   " Laurence I was going to ask you this later, but..........w-would you like t-to move in w-with m-me?"

A blush covered his cheeks. 

   "I would love to Y/n. "

My smile widened and I hugged him. Letting my head snuggle into the crook of his neck. He hugged me back and held me gently. Like I was about to break.

   " Wait. "

He pulled away and held my shoulders.

   " Shouldn't I be the one asking you this and you saying yes?"

   " Well, do you really want me to live with you, Garroth, and Zane all in one house?"

   " Nevermind. "

I giggled at his reaction. He leaned his forehead on mine.

   " Y/n I've loved you ever since high school. "

   " Me too Laurence. Me too. "

Then he closed the gap that was no longer between us. My future looks very bright. Especially with Laurence by my side. I'm ready to start my new life with Laurence. Together.
