The Last 4

I walked into work going up the stairs. Memories from last night came back to me.

( Flashback )

I felt the sweat start on my forehead. I tried to stay calm and I succeeded in doing so.

   " Thanks, guys.  "

   " Have you ever thought of singing professionally?" Nicole asked.

   " N-No. I don't really want to. "

   " Well, you should. "

I nodded and went to sit by Travis. He nodded at me and I nodded at him. I'm glad he knows. I can talk to him later about it.

( Flashback Over )

I entered our studio and set my bag on the chair. Bobby and Omar were sitting at their desktop.

   " Where's Megan?"

   " She's sick. " Omar said.

   " Aww really? What does she have?"

   " She had a bad fever this morning. She couldn't even get out of bed without collapsing. I told her I would check on her at lunch. "

   " Omar go home and take care of your girlfriend. We'll be fine here. " Bobby said.

   " Are you guys sure?"

We both nodded ' yes '. Omar smiled at us and he left the room.

   " Ready to record the last 5 songs of your album?"

   " Yup. "

I walked into the booth and put the headphones on. The music started playing. The beat filled my ears with joy.

   " That was the best one so far!"

   " Really?"

   " Ya. The melody and beat with the timing are great. "

   " Alright alright. Stop acting like a fangirl. "

   " Shut up!" He shouted as he pressed the button starting the next song.

   " That was a good take. "

   " Thanks. "

   " Sorry I wasn't talking to you. "

   " Then who-"

Bobby gazed at his desktop. With love in his eyes. He loves that desktop too much.

   " Now this is the last one before your final song okay?"

   " Got it. "

   " By the way, I got Darren's vocals for this before we left. Okay?"

   " That's the good thing about leaving. He's not here to annoy me. "

Bobby smiled and agreed with me. I heard the song start playing and I started singing with it. 

   " That was a good take. "

   " I know. I'm that good. "

   " You have a big ego. "

   " At least mine isn't bigger than my head. "

   " What was that?"

   " NOTHING!"

   " Sure sure. Ready for your final song for the Stronger Album?"

   " Let's do it. " I said with confidence.
