Part~Four-..
I could watch the scene for days on end, the tears of joy trickled down my face; my smile grew so much, my cheeks began to ache although the happiness I felt didn't last long. The room around me started to become blurred with motion; I seemed to sink back to the world behind me. An unusual force clenched hold of my body and dragged me backwards into a void of time, where everything seemed to fast-forward to the decade I belonged too. My strength was drained from muscle as I tried to stop and see my mother and father's face for one more second until I was dragged back to the lonely attic I was presently meant to be.
In a split of a second I was back home, gripping hold of the watch in my clumped hands. I was breath taken by what happen and overwhelmed, I ran down the attic stairs still gripping hold of my father's watch and dashed into my bedroom. My hands shaking, I rummaged through the items squatted on my work surface. Pushing things aside and knocking things over I found my mother's jewellery box, it was made of glass with tiny strands of metal that entwined with each other, in a simple word it was beautiful. I grabbed hold of the delicate glass box and placed it on my bedside neatly, I took out a hanky that was tucked up my sleeve. As I blew the thick layer of dust off the jewellery box I wrapped the watch up into the pink, frilly hanky and finally placing it into the box.
My heart was still thumping so hard that I almost thought that it was going to burst out of my chest and my head felt swollen against my skull as I tried looking back at my short journey in time. Without a second thought I quickly started to make my way to next door where one of my good friends, Eliza lived.
Shutting the large door behind me, I suddenly felt the frosty breeze through my clothes, nipping at my skin. As I made my way down the drive onto the path way I found the landscape to be strangely beautiful, even though the trees were asleep and green less, the white, frozen blanket that covered the branches, spiralling into clear icicles gave a peaceful yet graceful feel to the scenery, almost making me smile. I hugged myself, attempting to supply my body with warmth as I knocked at a familiar door. The door twisted to reveal Eliza standing in a silk, blue dress with noir black ringlets in her hair.
"Come here, its okay, I'm here." Eliza said whilst wrapping her arms around me. I couldn't help but cry on her shoulder, tears rolled down my cheeks, dampening the arm of her dress,
"Your father was a good man, he didn't deserve what happened." she whispered whilst stroking my hair. I had known Eliza since I was first welcomed to the world, she was two years older than me but we had such a bond that she felt like my older sister, a sister I never had, she was the only family I had left.
