Mother.

91 7 5

3 cups brown sugar
A spoonful of honey
1 cup of cocoa
1 cup self-raising flour

2 tablespoons of pain
Sorrow
The tears of an angel that tries so hard to give her family the best of the best
She gives and will keep giving til her last breath

1/2 cup heartbreak
She lays in bed all day
Sobbing over a man that lied to her 18 years ago
Sobbing over another that has betrayed her too many times

A pocketful of memories
Laughter that fills a home and more
A waterfall of strength, love and determination that is unstoppable
The perfect example of the strong, black woman
A woman I'm proud to call
"Mother."
