3rd Person P.O.V.

Daichi ran down the halls of the seemingly never ending castle. He felt like he had been running for hours, but in reality it had only been ten minutes. He didn't want to stop because he had to succeed in this mission. He knew very well what would happen to him if he failed. He shuddered as he remembered watching his own sister's demise. Maleficent had strapped her to a wall and Daichi was forced to watch as she summoned a giant heartless that extracted his sister's heart.

"This, child, is what may become of you if you fail me." Maleficent had said to him, almost inaudible due to his sister's terrified shrieks that echoed throughout the whole castle. He had managed to keep a straight face, even though inside he just wanted to run away from there.

Daichi stopped for a moment, breathing hard with his hands on his knees. He felt like he was going to pass out. I can't go on much further! This dungeon better be close! He took a moment to observe his surroundings. The white walls and floors were the same as in every other hallway. He sighed and stood up, cracking his neck. He ran on until he came to the end of the hallway.

"Right or left..." he muttered to himself, unsure which way to go. Suddenly from the left he heard the thrum of several hurried footsteps coming toward him. He summoned his sword, Soul Eater, and took up the fighting stance that Maleficent had taught him. She had said that her last apprentice had shown her how to fight with quick, agile, and accurate attacks so she could teach the moves to future apprentices. He stood with his back to the wall, ready to attack. When the footsteps came close, he jumped out from behind the wall and tackled one of the mysterious adversaries. He took a closer look at his opponent and realized that it was a girl. He immediately jumped off her and with one hand drew his sword up next to his ear and held out the other to beckon his opponent to attack him. A flexible pose that allowed him to be able to quickly strike and recoil.

Before he attacked, he looked at the girl's accomplices from under his hood. The girl herself had long, raven-black hair and red eyes. Beside her in a fighting stance was another girl with blond hair that went just past her shoulders and green eyes. The last person, Daichi immediately recognized as the Organization's number nine, Demyx. He was able to recognize every member of the Organization from the hours he had spent studying files on them. In Maleficent's castle, all there really was to do was read or train.

"Who are you?" Demyx asked, giving him a weird look.

Daichi quickly decided that it would only be a waste of time to fight them. He snickered and gave a devious grin. "Wouldn't you like to know. Now get outta my way." he pushed Demyx aside and continued running down the hall. From behind him, Daichi heard Demyx suddenly exclaim, "He must be after Aimi too!" so he picked up speed and the sound of the others' footsteps became more and more distant. Finally he skidded to a stop at the bottom of a flight of stairs. The room in front of him had completely white walls and a grey floor. In the center was a purple cage. He peered inside the cage and saw a girl. She had long brown hair with red streaks in it and blue eyes. She looked extremely bored and appeared to be braiding a thin stand of her hair. He took a step forward and she looked up at him.

"Are you here to, like babysit me or something? Make sure I don't escape?" She sneered.

Daichi shook his head. "I'm here to set you free."

The girl looked up at him and raised an eyebrow. "Really?"

He nodded and held out his hand. "Take my hand and I'll get you out of here."

She got up and walked over to him uncertainly. "Who are you?" she asked, eying him suspiciously.

"My name's Daichi. Call me Dai."
