All That Never Was (Kingdom Hearts) (Discontinued)

Chapter Eight:

A/N: Sorry for the long wait! Hope you like ^^

All we could do was watch as Yuffie fought off the heartless. At first she was doing fine, knocking out several heartless at a time, but with every wave of heartless she looked more and more exhausted. Finally she fell to her knees, her ninja stars dropping from her hands.

"Yuffie! Someone has to go help her!" Leon exclaimed.

"No one here is fit to battle!" Aerith protested.

"We can't just leave her to die!" 

"Axel will be back with Sora soon."

"We need Sora to be here NOW. Soon is not now!" Leon limped over towards the door, but Aerith jumped in front of him and blocked his path. 

"Please Leon! Don't go! You just have to trust in Sora!" Aerith begged.

Leon glared at her. "Aerith-" 

Suddenly, from outside, there was a flash of light that was so bright that I had to look away from the window. When it was over, all of the heartless had vanished. In the center of the Borough now were three figures. One I immediately recognized as Axel. The other two looked familiar and it took me a minute to realize who they were. 

"Oh my God it's Sora!" Julie exclaimed pointing to the spiky-haired brunette. He looked older now, maybe around sixteen or so. He was way taller with slightly shorter, less spiky hair and his outfit was different (Pic to the right. Yes he looks very different then in KH2, but then think of Riku when he went from age 15 to 16). Riku on the other hand looked almost exactly the same as he had in Kingdom Hearts 2. 

"Awesome!" Tim exclaimed, pushing Julie and I aside so he could see out the window better. 

"What are we doing just sitting here!? The hero of light is right outside! Let's go talk to him!" I said, getting up and rushing to the door. Julie and Tim were right behind me as I ran outside. Suddenly a thought occurred to me. I stopped just outside the door and my friends nearly crashed into me. 

"What's the holdup?" Tim asked. 

"We can't enthuse over him, because what are we going to tell him when he asks how we know who he is?" I explained. 

"Don't worry, I already filled him in on the whole other dimension thing. He was really excited about having a video game starring him." We all turned around to see Axel behind us. He smiled. "Go on. You can rush him if you want."

Julie and I looked at each other and then at Sora. Then both of us broke into a run and surrounded him. 

"Oh my God, it's really you!" Julie squealed like a crazed fan girl.

Sora looked over at us with a confused look in his bright blue eyes. Then he seemed to understand. He smiled. "So you two are Julie and Kora, huh?" he asked. His voice sounded a little bit deeper then in KH2. 

"Yep, that's us!" I said, trying my hardest not to sound too much like a ten-year old girl at a Justin Beiber concert. "I can't believe we're actually meeting you in person!" 

Sora laughed. "So in your dimension I have my own video game!?" Sora asked, excitedly. "What's it called?"

I giggled at his enthusiasm. "Yeah. It's the best game ever without a doubt and it's called Kingdom Hearts. There's several of them. Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts 2, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Kingdom Hearts Recoded, Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days, and Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance. They're about all of your adventures." I explained.

Sora looked intrigued. "Like which adventures?" he asked. 

"Well, in the first game-" I left Julie to explain the games to Sora and I went over to where Riku stood. He was leaning against the wall, with his eyes closed.
